Amen that's exactly it ! Shame and guilt come from the enemy, conviction is from God, and it's good !! condemnation Is from the devil. but exactly God is always waiting for us to return back to him when we go astray.

We have to run back to him when this happens, don't turn from him or that may result in you falling deeper into sin, confess to him and repent ! and remember repentance is "If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 so it's confessing + turning from your sin !

Keep seeking him, continue to abide in Jesus, I believe going back to what used to have you in bondage will only make things worse. I struggle with this as well, but remember "Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings." 1 Peter 5:9 resist the temptation of the enemy, he wants to make you think God doesn't hear you or care about you, but God knows what is best for you, through our weakness we are made strong."For when I am weak, then I am strong." 1 Corinthians 12:9-11. You are being made stronger and God is building you faith etc. "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” James 1:2-3 You've got this, and God has got you abide in him and he will abide in you. Remember we already have the victory.

I felt that. I’m so sorry you feel this way, I used to be atheist up until about 9 months ago. I reached the darkest most sad lost place in my life and I finally decided I had no other option then to turn to God. Even when I called out to him I had no clue if I believed or what would come of it. It has been the best decision of my life. I thought the EXACT. Same things about God and this world but God has helped me come to the realization that this world is under satans reign, he wants us to see what a life ruled by sin and satan is like verse what he tells us about heaven. This is what comes from sin, death, rape, pain, sadness, depression, anxiety, addiction, lying. It’s all result of sin and satan and not choosing good over evil. Even us, the “smaller” bad decisions of our own such as lying, cheating, addiction leads to others pain and deceit or others addition and just a ripple effect of sin, even if we’re not murdering. It’s sad but it’s just temporary heaven is forever and peaceful. You also have a chance to be with God, he wants nothing more than that for you. I’ll be praying for you. I’m sorry your not going through a good time right now but I assure you, turn to God he has got you.
