Try drinking some water with some apple cider vinegar after eating alot of oily or fried food. For me it helps to prevent that icky nauseous feeling 🙂. Also you can try eating some pickled vegetables with meals like that as well.

We would have Long John Silvers almost every other Friday night when I was growing up.. Love the fish, fries and coleslaw.. hush puppies were really good with ketchup and tartar sauce mixed

My grandpa used to love long John silvers. The closest one we had was about 40 mins away so we didn’t go often, but whenever we would go it was like a special little trip. Haven’t had it in a while since it closed down, but whenever I go there it’s like a rush of nostalgia remembering those days… simpler times.

Malt vinegar on fries is really normal in Canada. We usually have white and malt at the tables in restaurants with salt, pepper, and ketchup. If it’s not on the table it’s usually offered if you ordered fries or an easy request and they’ll have a bottle of it. I remember when I went to the states as a kid I was so confused they didn’t have vinegar on the table already and when my dad asked for some they came back and were like, “we’re so sorry all we have is malt.” We we’re just like, “oh, that’s perfect!”🙌😂

In Canada most of our KFCs are connected to Taco Bell restaurants. They are all owned by the same parent company. I believe Pizza Hut is also owned by the same company.

True down here in the states too, I've seen a few Taco Bell or KFC combined with Pizza Hut but it's usually TB and KFC together. Long John Silvers was sold from Yum! Brands back in 2011 so now they're all stand alone stores.

Love me some good old Long John Silvers. Yum brands owned KFC and LJS. In November of 2022, Yum brands sold LJS to a group of LJS franchisees and investors. Hopefully they will return to greatness.

My grandmothers first job in high school was a long john silver's in a small town in Illinois. She was about 17 and just a few years later, she would have my aunt. She had her with her toxic a abusive husband which deserves nothing. He ruined a lot of things. My grandmother has been through A LOT.
