Bobby and Pam were an awesome couple with a real life excellent sense of humor. I don’t recall what happened to the evil ho, Katherine Wentworth. After she had been doing JR awhile, she had no chance with Bobby even if he and Pam were separated. I think they brought Pam back from her death in a car accident. Bobby married April even though she had been with JR. I can’t remember what happened there, but April died on their honeymoon. Don’t know why or how. I thought one of JR’s posse, maybe old McSween took out Katherine. Evil psycho, but what happened to her?

It was a great era for television. For kids you had such shows as the A Team, Grearest American Hero and others. For the teenagers you had Simon and Simon, Magnum P.I. V, Hardcastle and McCormac and others. For the adults you had Redmington Steele, the Equaliser, Starsky and Hutch, Miami Vice Hill Street Blues and others. Drama wise you had Dallas, Dynasty, Flamingo Road, Falcon the Colbies, Rich Man Poor man and Kane and Abel. Comedy wise you had the Cosbies, Family Ties Cheers and married with children. Nowadays nothing except repeats, no shows for children to watch in the morning and the only shows are cooking programmes. As Springsteen once sung 57 channels and nothing on.😀😀😀

I know that they tried in earnest to get her to come back, but she stood by what she originally said when the show ended its run on CBS in the mid 1990s, "No! I'm done with my time as Pam Ewing...." Though she will reminisce about her time in cast reunions and get-togethers, etc. the live long day she will not reprise her role as Pamela Barnes Ewing. True to her last name, in part, to the end; Principles of it all. No means no with a thank you very kindly I'm flattered that you asked but it's still a hard NO I'm not doing Pam Ewing anymore. And that's why I can't, I'm sure so many other people can't either, help but love her all the more, no????

Yes. Linda Evans & Judith Chapman (Ginny Y & R), also auditioned. It wouldn't have worked. What I loved about Bobby is how he always defended Pam's Honor "Spy In The House" is an excellent example. They were the Romeo & Juliet of The Show while the Ewings/Barnes were the Hatfield & McCoys. Bobby was such a Sweetheart, taking Pam to The Disco in Braddock, then taking her to Las Vegas with him for The Oilmen's Convention where he was reunited with Gary or even taking her out to Dinner when Sue Ellen was in The Sanitarium or even when he got the Refinery.

smck 2016..So true! You can't fake that chemistry. It's either there or it isn't there. Patrick and Victoria had it for sure. They're the best TV couple ever IMO.

Pam was Bobby's first true love. It was a shame that they never had children. Bobby's 2nd and 3rd wives could not compete with Pam in Bobby's mind. Bobby NEVER got over Pam

@@antoniameli1880 No, Patrick was married to the same woman (a ballet dancer) for over 40 years until she passed away two years ago. Just proves what a great guy he is in real life.

david sartison I enjoyed the reboot. The first 7 seasons of Dallas were iconic but certainly the reboot was as good as seasons 8-13.

Reboot lasted 3 seasons, would have lasted longer if Larry hadn’t of died. Reboot seasons WAY better than the last 4 years of the original.

The Dallas bosses should never have killed Pam off so Victoria could have come back. Loved Dallas and Bobby and Pam were my favourite couple in it.
