I remember travelling to Florida the week after for our vacation from the UK, was very scary!

i remember all the flooding in my area.

I remember going to North Carolina when we evacuated. and when we got back, houses were destroyed, trees blocking the roads, homes and trees were flooded with water. it almost looked like a swamp. one the most devastating things I've seen from a storm.

Dude I remember my first hurricane irma and bro I had so much fun like I stayed at my cousin house and like we had power from 3 generator and we had internet too so I was happy until I had to leave I was so clam when I was 7 years old and like didn't care a all of that hurricane I had funny but my house was destroyed and I was crying because I wanted to watch my TV show 😢 but ya rest and peace to those people who died from irma they are in a better place now 🌹🌹 flowers for those who died from irma

I remember Irma it was a nightmare I can’t believe it was a c1 😮

I remember (that's the start of a lot comments here) my dad driving us out of the state, with those tornadoes actually behind us. Cops were stopping people from entering the road out and he evaded the police pretty much swerved right past them

We were living in a condo on the bottom floor at the time. It was about 10pm and not much was happening. Some strong winds and rain. As my son and I were watching out the window, we could see blue flashes in the distance. I said, "Ok time to close the door." A minute or so later the pressure in the condo was sucked out, several loud pops and then a massive boom. We looked outside in the backyard and saw no grass. It was black. One half of the building roof popped off, shot up and slightly over and dropped onto the ground. A few minutes later we lost power. About 30 minutes later, the water started seeping from the upstairs condo down to our place. It was wild to say the least.

It didn't have flooding for me but it did leave broken houses and trees.
