His voice sounded then exactly how it is today. It’s odd hearing such a recognizable voice attached to a face that’s eerily familiar, but definitely alien

Bonnet was an important figure in Earnhardt’s success during the early 90s. The reason the Goodwrench car was always setup so well was thanks to Bonnett and a ton of track time. Their understanding of one another helped him win not only races but championships

I was a Neil Bonnett fan due to his hosting of his TV show (that I could finally get to watch thanks to the BIG satellite dish) long before I was a NASCAR fan. I remember when my late younger brother told me of his wreck and passing and I couldn't hardly believe it. Wow...25 years ago. And not only do I miss them both, today I feel old. RIP...

25 years. Where did the time go? Seems like just yesterday he was burning up the track. I love to watch Neil race when I could. Neil, along with other great drivers will always be missed. The sport just isn't the same without them.
You left out one Allison (Clifford) and Stricklin. Hut is Donnie's son-in-law.

One of the finest men to grace our sport as I was only a 9 year old child when he past a day before my 10th birthday I will always remember him as the host of winners and when I met him he was one of the kindest and most gracious humans I have ever met still to this day . My heartfelt sorrow and sympathy goes out to his widow Susan and children I know what it means to lose one of your heroes and I am thankful for having the privilege to have met a man like that looking back kkl ago.

Between his and Dale Earnhardt’s crashes, the cars are now safer. That’s why Ryan could walk out of the hospital just a few days after his crash

The quintessential Neil Bonnett: when asked about why he'd buy a bass boat with a 300 HP motor on it - "You hook a bass at 100 MPH, you take the fight right out of him." R.I.P. Neil - you are missed.

He started laughing, and says No, but I Sure Wish I had he’s money, l telling Helen, who it was as he was still laughing at USE, Neil stud there and talked to use for 10 minutes autographing hats and other things!!
