A commemoration event was organized in The Hague, Netherlands, for Palestinian children killed in the Israeli attacks on Gaza.
In the event organized by the "Plant an Olive Tree Foundation" in the square in front of the Dutch Foreign Ministry building, thousands of children who lost their lives in the Israeli attacks in Gaza were commemorated.
Thousands of pairs of children's shoes were left on the square to draw attention to the children who died in Israeli attacks.
Some civil servants working in ministries, lawyers and health workers also participated in the event during their lunch break.
The names and ages of thousands of children who lost their lives in Gaza were read out, and volunteers distributed brochures to passersby about what is happening in Gaza.
Esther van der Most, Director of the Plant an Olive Tree Foundation, told AA correspondent that this was the 6th time they organized this event.
Van der Most said, "We started with 8 thousand shoes at the beginning because more than 8 thousand children were killed at that time, now this number has exceeded 15 thousand. This is unprecedented, this is genocide."
Pointing out that children and their families were killed by Israel, van der Most said, "Many children don't even have parents anymore. This (genocide) must be stopped."
