Madhawan has all the advantages : well read, good looks, damn good actor, interested in sports, comfortable in Hindi and Tamil, a brilliant speaker... Above all a good human being. In short, an interviewers delight. Pleasantly surprised to see how Ashwin is an unabashed movie buff. Loving this series of Ashwin where in he tries to make cricketers shed their inhibitions and of course, it is easy for him as he knows them personally.

Maddy would have thought off spin but mistakenly told leg spin. Point is not what he uttered, but what he meant - that if you are asked to act a role which you can relate to in real life, the output would be larger than life. Ashwin is too shrewd not to miss that slip from Maddy, but he didn't point it out since it didn't affect the overall point by much. And even if he really meant leg spinner, an off spinner can do the role of a leg spin bowler, much better than that of a wicket keeper.

Ashwin was put down a bit when Maddy mentioned him as a leg spinner. Lol:D Ashwin has done a lot of homework and Maddy should have done the same. Very natural and good questions and a nice interview.

Ash is getting better with each episode, appears to come quite well prepared like how he does on the cricket field. It will be a bit nice if he can just hold off on interrupting or overlapping the guest's answer to most of his questions at the end. It will be wonderful if he can wait till the end to talk or ask the next question! I am clearly enjoying his work!

The involvement and honesty in Ashwin's questions and storytelling, helps Maddy breathe life into this interview making it larger than life, watching this for the last hour felt very much like watching Minnale Kudos to the preparation and hard work, I can imagine Ashwin being the voice for entertainment for a long long time in the future after much his illustrious cricketing career takes a backseat Respect bro. It's one of the class interview. Holding the listerns time for 1 hour 15 minutes is not easy task..Ash# you have a great skills as an interviewer. However as a well wisher and a fan I would like express my + and - about this series. + Plus.. ur straight forwardness, in-depth knowledge about cinema, intelligent questions, no cut/ edit. - minus- never hold or stop the guest while expressing thier views. Wow, didn't expect this going in. Looking forward to a casual chat, but after 10-15 mins, the conversation turns into a very insightful and interesting path, which I don't think even Maddy expected. Rare to see a cricketer and movie star, especailly someone as talented as Maddy, having such a candid talk. Kalakkal. Watching this after Ash's marathon innings in Sydney. All the best for Gabba!
