Back in the day my wife and I saw the LRB in concert. Whenever I hear their music, I think of her. It’s been almost 4 years since she passed. I am crying like a baby now as I write this. I was so blessed. Thanks HSCC for a wonderful version of that song.

Im so sorry for your loss. I’m always so amazed when men write such sensitive comments about loving their wives. It’s really touching and even makes me cry for you guys. My dad passed about the same time as your wife, per your comment. My mom was devastated as their marriage of 53 years was absolutely heavenly. But as she says, she wouldn’t be so heartbroken if they hadn’t had the wonderful relationship they did have. I hope knowing you DID have something so wonderful to cause you to still mourn to this day makes you feel good about that. 😊

Found this band on KZfaq about six months ago and can't stop listening to them . I'm 72 and heard and seen alot of groups but these guys can rock with anybody. Keep going Luv your music

Am 60 this year but you guys seems to be much younger than me, but this Band seems to be playing the hits songs from My days gone by. An Aussie band covering a GREAT AUSSIE BAND! I loved LRB and would stay up late to watch them on The Midnight Special...this was my favorite! The lead singer like all their leads don't try to imitate the originals but add their beautiful soulfulness! Thank you for adding to this old timer's memories! Loved it!!!

There are some timing problems with the band. I noticed on a couple other tunes. But they are excellent.

Bruce Hehl I really like this band, but the drummer is really “Stiff”. This my be by choice as they are not doing the tune like the recording. Other tunes they do I was expecting eighth notes on the hat but he uses quarters.

@Garegh62 if that reply was ment for me fine. The band isn't really in the pocket. They seem to be playing ho hum. Not as tight as IT COULD BE. I believe they have the chops. Maybe a long session. I am a session player and on a low budget project we move from tune to tune if we are able. These guys seem talented but not really in to it. I'm not a producer but session player and arranger.🙂

One of my favorite songs in 78, had special meaning for me as I walked a girl I met in college from downtown back to her dorm...a million different thoughts go thru a young man's head on the way back...I got a goodnite kiss, and a date and several more dates and was in love. It didnt work out but everytime I hear some of those great songs from late 1978 it reminds me of her and how much I loved her,,,,,,,nice job guys!!!

Love the singers tone and his casual swagger. Very smooth LRB rendition. Glen Shorrock was the goods in LRB. Love the percussion in all this.
