Great vid !! Very much helped me when I was farming today! But when farming them do keep in mind to stay away from high ground/ mountains on nerud. Two out of three I got to spawn were inside the environment and I couldn’t kill them and I had to reset

Kinda funny to see this with that music. I would be fighting for my life with that many enemies around. More of a system of a down moment lol

I do believe this is a better way than I have been doing it. Which is rolling cotton's kiln and running back and forth through it, hoping for a spawn. Cotton's kiln is the longest, spawning enemy elites consistently. I will probably try some of the suggestions in this and see if they can improve it.

Well, it doesn’t matter where you do it. You just need a high intensity tile. If it has rolled on your preferred place, you’re good to go. If not reset at checkpoint and try again. The best way would be to do a 3 person coop, each individual has a separate roll and you’ll get more frequent elite spawn and thus more aberration spawn.

Makes sense I guess thanks for the vid. Also dunno if it’s a preference but Leto’s Mark 1 offers more armor now than Mark II after the armor changes. Makes no sense to me since the Mark II is suppose to be better in every way but Mark 1 is better armor rating wise.

You’re welcome. You’re correct but I like to have some fashion too and thus I preferred to style myself with Leto Mark 2.

Note this is only useful for farming the exclusive mutators. If you're short on corrupted shards, there's no need to farm - it's much easier to simply dupe them with a coop partner. Let your coop partner sell the shards to Cass in your world, you then quit to main menu. When you boot back into the game, you can buy the shards from Cass, while your coop partner still has everything he sold to Cass in his inventory. Takes literally 1 minute and you can dupe any sellable item by spending scrap.

Glitches like that tend to get fixed. So farming guides like this is always good to have around when those get patched. Also I'm the type of person who ties their best not to abuse glitches

@@kelmirosue3251 It’s not a glitch. On PC, you keep a copy of your save file, drop your inventory to someone and replace your new save with the old one. The same applies to PS4/5 save scumming. You’re just replacing the save.

@@Maddcat1979 It might not of been a "Glitch" but it was a "Bug" apparently they patched out " Fixed an issue where Corrupted Shards could be sold to vendors, this was not the intention and has been removed."

Suprising in Yaesha, my roommate and I ran nightmare on campaign to farm and got 3 abberations to spawn at once. Then, after clraring 2 and one going away, another spawned with it. It was the Expanding Glade, where the 2 secret bosses spawn. We managed to get "The Gnarled Archer, The Weal Stalker, Gorglut, and Plaguebringer."" 2/4 dropped cuorrupt shards, 1 dropped a mutator.

The aberrations spawn on high intensity tiles and those can spawn anywhere. The aberrations spawn rate was bumped up with DLC launch.

After 8 hours culminative after the dlc trying, I've not had a single aberration spawn on different adventure locations and that dosn't count my story apoc run to get Anguish or co-op time. It would have been nice to try out the event weapons since I missed it, but I'm at my tolerance limit for shitty rng game design. Why there isn't some direct path to get these weapons is beyond me and I'm saddened they patched out the shop bug because the devs want players to waste their time being bored to death with rng to get even a single shard.

I just wondered what would happen if I set my ps5 to Oct 31st again? Messing with consol and PC time 100% does mess with Rem2 and its events/Vendors so I wonder if that could work too

That won't work. Just farm it on 'normal', kite a mob around for a few minutes, don't kill it ... spawns in a few minutes.

Unfortunately, they cannot be dropped anymore. The developers changed that with yesterday’s patches. They said that they never intended for corrupted shards to be sold off to Cass. They have remedied that situation. You’re a day late.

Also for everyone to know .... just go to something like Yaesha, first map you can bump into an enemy ... (Don't think the palace words but try it if you'd like?) and just kite a single enemy around for a few minutes until one spawns... kill, rinse repeat... it doesn't have to be a zone with a ton of elites...

Lol, I didn’t make this shit up. There is something called a high intensity tile. It was said so by the developers. And, farming on survivor has a 5% chance. Kite around a single enemy all you like and if it’s not a high intensity time, not a single aberration will spawn. It’s not a zone with tons of elites either. It has a name and description all stated by the development team but perhaps they don’t know what they are talking about.
