Getting them plumbing and a power grid would be way better then jumping straight to computers. With modern solar panels, inverters, batteries, LEDs, exc you could build a microgrid for their huts for lighting and small appliances. I grew up with DSL internet. You had to boot someone off the computer program or internet browser (we had NetZero and AIM lol) to take phone calls. Fax machines were still a preffered way of sending documents. I didnt get stable internet connection and an internet capable device until i was 13 and im grateful for spending my childhood off the computer and outside. God please save our future generations from merging with AI or whatever. Its already literally worthy of death it seems to separate an ipad baby from their device. I do not blame these villagers, they have just had a few hundred years of technological advancement and cultural changes happen overnight. This is how it would be if aliens just dropped a quantum computer down in the middle of West Virginia.
