Yup legit worked 😊 I think what the perfume is doing is removing the top most layer of varnish, where the stain is sitting. Because the cotton ball I used turned a light brown colour. Works for me! A better remedy than (a) letting the hubby attempt a sand/stain and ruining the table more, or (b) paying to have it done professionally. Thanks!

OMGosh!! Thank you! I sprayed alcohol on my cabinet handle to disinfect and almost cried when it stained my kitchen cabinet. I was about to apply a paint stain (minwax) over it and praying it matched. Now I don’t have to. Thanks again!!!

Thanks, perfume works. Oil or 50/50 vinegar didn’t do anything. Brut aftershave works like magic too. My dresser top was badly stain with alcohol , has white spots all over. I sanitized it to prevent COVID-19.

I sprayed disinfectant on remote controls that were on top on my coffee table....and you guessed it, it made this white stain. I stumbled upon this video and thought i would try it but in an inconspicuous area just incase it made it worst. So since nothing happened to the wood, i decided to go for it and voila! It totally worked and after it dried i used wood stainer cleaner and it's as good as new. Thank you!!!!!!!! Just sprayed my dried flowers with the same perfume to explain the fragrance wafting in the air 😉🤫 After doing some more research there's a safer option on Popular woodworking channel. I continued my research just in case an unexpected damage would happen through out the day. So far 2 hrs later this method has worked .

I'm writing this at 2AM, after an earlier accident in the evening, spilling a half bottle of rubbing alcohol on my hardwood table. I couldn't sleep and was only thinking on how my dark brown table was now ruined with white stains all over, and how could I repair it. I cannot believe it : this trick WORKS. The white stains are all GONE! (and my table know smells like Polo Red Intense) This is not perfect though. It does makes white stains disappear, but I will try treating my table with oil in order to try to bring its original luster back. For white stains though, this is a miracle trick -- I still cannot believe it. THANK YOU!!
