Thank you so much for a superb video, appreciated! Suggestion, place the wheel/rim under the door sill hard parts as an emergency failsafe if you don't have jack stands available. Quick and effective safety measure. I'm under my ML often and use jackstands AND the wheel under the sill every time. You have a beautiful wife, don't get yourself killed brother!

You Know, I Was Skeptical About The Rear Suspension Of These Mercedes ML. People Say It Is A Nightmare. But After A Few Videos Like This, I Not Only Have A Rough Idea, I Have The Whole Procedure Memorized. Thanks Dude This Helped A Lot. You Earned A New Subscriber. But Seriously. Get Jacks Because That Is Quite Dangerous With Only A Jack.

Good job just make it safer, don't trust your car jack just put something solid under your car so in case your jack fails your car won't crush you to death

Many thanks for this video,. Just changed the rear shocks on my ML500 and it looks stupid, Rear of the car is way to high. By watching your video now I know why. my mechanic did not adjust the height before tightened the last 2 bolts. I would not find out why if I wouldn't watched this video, many thanks .

Good work.when I was in the u s.i tried to fix it myself is expensive to take it to car dealer.in fact I have them replaced 3 days ago and I paid 3500 pesos just for labor.not bad huh?new subscriber here..salamat po!!!

Got to do this to my ml, great tip about the small ratchet spanner 👍. Winced a little when you were under the car with only a jack supporting the weight. Great job though and made me confident to do mine now (also I’ve got no lift so lying down on the job) 😂

What a good video. This is exactly what I needed to see for my ml350 I have. Hey what size wrench were you using to remove those to big cylinder shaped thing . You used your impact and a wrench to remove them

I see! if the rear shock is broken the car runs rough...that's so nice that your hubby knows a lot about cars. You're saving money of not taking it to Kwek Car.

Ang Galing ni hubby mo sis,hindi na kailangan ang magbayad ng ibang mechanic ayus talaga pag marunong ng gawain ang asawa natin sis. Kailangan pala measurement pag maayus sis amazing aah. Din yung camera mo sis napaka linaw. Ang bilis lang para sa kanya mag trabahu.

mabuti hindi hirap asawa mo sis, maganda talaga marunong mag palit kasi mahal s garage magpapalit. hinidi nga madali kita ko yan sa asawa ko. abutin cia ng ilang oras sa pag palit.

Thanks so much for showing us how to do the job I have one coming up - just a note I didn’t see a axle stand under the car just the jack . Maybe I didn’t spot it but you don’t want a car slipping off Jack and landing on you . Belt and braces always as a friend told me .

Доброго здрровья! Всё показона подробно,только одно не совсем понял вы мерите рулеткой ростояние от оси до крыла,а какое долно быть растояние не понял ,если мерить от колеса с правой стороны ,так ведь машина поднята и растояние будет отличаться от ровно стоящего. Вот этот момент непонял может объясните по лучше,а то мне предстоит снимать с правой стороны оторвало опору амортизатор просто болтается ?! 🙏

Bought some from ebay they were not cheap. They really helped the ride and handling. Make sure you get the 13 mm racheting stubby box end wrench, cant do it without that tool.

Добрый день, подскажите вот мне меняли стекло лобовое протекала под резинками,поменяли прошло 6-7 месяцев и опять закапало с посажирской стороне прям видно что стекает по стеклу с внутреней стороны,что я могу сделать может подскажете,никаких сервисов где диву !?

I was distressed that I saw you use your floor jack "Alone"? Hmmm Seems You have twisted wrenches a few times? And are knowlagable enough to put Safty First. I gripe at my older brother for this same reason. Take five minutes to locate and Use a jack stand. It's unsettling to see you in such close proximity to your sole floor jack with half of your body under the car. Wiggling around if your jack ever Failed or vehicle shifted? Some one will be hurt. I freak out with my brother much worse.

Good luck.... Fortunately None of us have been hurt. In my 40 some odd years experience I have had Exactly Two cars *2 Fall the first 40 some years ago. Simple change of a tire using a bumper jack luck be it the tire and rim kept the car from hitting the ground Totally as some how in the process of falling the tire got manipulated just under the hub. Both of my legs were under there. The second time was another seemingly simple task? Just a routine check of the back brakes to see what was squeaking ? Ok this time it's not long after the first incident I'd say two years later. Again some how the car fell off of a bottle jack and Two adjustable jack stands. Like the first time I skated and came through that unscathed I feel fortunate for that and reflecting upon those two in incidents I realize that the front tires on both cars were not chocked. I've seen several accidents since where people were not so fortunate. I'm 55 years old now and I am still learning and can never stress enough especially to younger people to secure Any vehicle from falling/tipping or moving in any manner when one is going to be working underneath it. I'm not saying you did not have Your vehicle secured? Those points may have not been visable I just didn't see it.
