I can't find the depth map in the free davinci resolve. I guess this is just for the pro version. Do you have any quick tip and can you share how this can work in the Free version?

Once you've connected your alpha channel, you can go back to the edit page and put any clip under the clip you removed the background from.

I'm in the same boat - I'm sure it'll be super EASY once I know where to look and understand it.........but at this moment in time I don't know how to "connect your alpha channel." I'll find a different video to explain it to me. EDIT: Yep, super easy: I needed to turn off the "depth map preview" and then stuff below was seen.

It's TOTALLY worth it. I used the free version for about a year and didn't realize ALL the feature I was missing. Plus in buying it, you support future development and unlike adobe, you get updates for free from Resolve. Just my 2c. Cheers!@@HDBishop
