Great. It works. There were still 7 apps that I wasn't able to uninstall but just realised that i still uninstalled like 15 apps. They amount of bloatware mi have is crazy. K20 pro was my first MI phone and will be my last. Samsung for life.

This is a good first step. What drove me into flashing a custom ROM is OCD: the clean/deep clean option will still appear in the recent apps menu after you've removed the "cleaner" app. It's just there, being a useless button that does nothing every time I go into recent apps.

I can feel it bro. You can't get rid of the cleaner app completely. The cleaning option will still show up on the security app. Clicking on it won't do anything though.

Scanner List of safely disabled apps : 1. Calculator (Alternative - Google Calculator) 2. Mi Browser 3. Mi Cloud 4. Mi Video (download some alternative from play store like VLC) 5. Music (download some alternative from play store like VLC) 6. SoterService 7. Analytics P.S: Don't disable/uninstall MSA as it interferes with Google Play Services functioning.

@Adarzh Sathyan No, obviously you won't be able to play them with those apps. You will have to download some alternative from the play store. I use VLC, as it doesn't have any ads.

@Adarzh Sathyan Scanning of QR from camera won't work. If you want that feature, then don't uninstall Scanner. But then, you can always use Google Lens to scan QR. There is an alternative to everything :)

You can remove anything but, don't remove security app because it causes bootloop to the device.

U can use magisk manager to hide root from any desired app

If ROM it properly no problems but if you try to get a ROM from a bad dev (best custom rom: Lineage OS)it will be a problem or if you forget to flash something. And you can do what the above guy said for apps.

Don't remove security app, find device app, xiaomi framework your device will stuck in bootloop. Also theme app in some cases
