One thing to note here is that you're essentially increasing CPU temperature so if you're okay with that It's actually useful tip. If you want to check you're temperature of the CPU Downlaod Core Temp. And play with the settings to see your good spot

My laptop when ever i set full clock or over 3.0ghz it will heat upto 90+ but when i set it to 2.4 in throttlestop my temp is like 75 up to 83 performance is good too.

Be REALLY careful with overclocking. If you have heat and electricity in your PC to spare, it’s probably fine, but otherwise you can SERIOUSLY DAMAGE your pc.

Dude wtf people are gonna fry their laptops doing this. Unless you live in Siberia, this isn't viable, youre better off undervolting your cpu and gpu. The manufacturers put that power limit there for a reason, they know the limit of the hardware they created.

You shouldn't do this on a Laptop because of Thermal Throttling and will slow it down instead of getting more performance. I recommend lowering the voltage and not overclocking it for less temps, longer battery life, and most importantly more performance

if things seem a bit confusing, let me simplify it for you. The 45W mentioned is the Thermal Design Power (TDP) of the CPU. In my video, I demonstrate how to remove the power limit. This limit prevents the CPU from using more power than a set amount. This cap can apply to CPUs with various TDPs. Usually, the power limit is lower than the CPU's TDP. I show how to raise the power limit to reach the PC's maximum TDP.
