Extra tip - If you find one low level with 0 Oxy & one with 0 food you can always breed the 2 together to get your perfect 0Food0Oxy Tame. Might prove easier than searching for a long time. If you want to use Thylas or other dinos that aren't normally allowed in the Boss Arenas then you need to use a mod called "All Arena Ascended" on Single player & I believe for Unoffical too. Ive heard that it doesnt matter, for example you can max out all base stats and it doesn't effect your other stats. Eg: Max Oxy wont stop you from getting max stats in all other stats, please advise. Great video btw, i watch nearly all your content. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the comment. On unofficial servers or single players saves without level cap you are fine and you will never need to do this. The official server however do have that level cap, and some unofficial ones too, so if the cap is 450, and you can level 82 times?(can't remember the number) Every stat has a level linked to it so That would be bred at 367 divided by all the stats. If you keep food, oxy then you can't get as many levels into the other stats. Some unofffical servers even set the level cap lower than offfical to up the difficulty, so breeding out oxy food or other unwanted stats becomes a must.

For transferring good dino stats over, should you still find the highest wild level stats possible, then tame, then breed to higher stats, and then transfer using a low level dino?

I tend to breed multiple pairs say 8 Rexes high levels, get all the stats from them into one male, breed that with a low foodoxy female, and then once I have a pair of perfect bred babies Male and female with HP, Stam, Weight, and Melee 0Foodoxy. I breed the 2 together to get mutations & more females. Unlike Ark Evolved Mutations are seperate from the stats themselves on Ascended so yes you can transfer those mutations straight onto a higher stat if you find it in a newly tamed one wild.

Thylas can’t fight bosses so it’s all for nothing maybe caves if can fit

on ASE.. can only go into 1 boss fight. and it is not allowed on that map. AB.,

You know what I totally forgot they weren't allowed... :D Me & the tribe used the modded Ceratosaurus this time on the Island which got the job pretty easy, guess I'll just continue farming it with those. Caves on The Center I believe the Thylas are good for, I'll keep breeding them for those.

Tested on Single player can take Thylas in the arena ONLY if you use the "All Arena Ascended" mod. I guess this is the same for Unofficial too so I'll probably be making use of that mod to get my Thylas involved.

good video. but any breeder that breeds in bulk. food is a stat that is bred out at the end. because it is no fun looking at a mutation you want starve. because you have 50 babies to look at.

Yes, this is always something to consider especially if you are breeding that many alone. Definitely worth keeping food in if it makes life easier.

If you get to this stage in the breeding game you probably have tek troughs. If not, definitely invest. Life savers and game changers.

@@vincepeterson4113 very true.. but I am taking about hand feeding. with a higher food stat. hand feeding is easier. and less time consuming.

It’s to avoid level cap and get SUPER crazy dinos (especially boss dinos). I did this on official ASE with deinonychus. I got capped at 450 (babies hatched at 422) with mutated health and melee. When I bred the lower food, stam and oxygen it brought the overall level down but kept the high health and melee, allowing me to pump more levels into stats we actually wanted.
