I'm sold that vgt is the best turbo application. I tow a lot and am looking at a non vgt turbo with the exhaust brake added in the exhaust

I deleted my 14l Detroit 60 series that had a vgt turbo replaced it with a wastegated turbo and I can say I did lose some of my Jake brakes and low rpm boost. I’m thinking of putting the vgt back on is it safe to run a vgt turbo without egr ?? If it’s risky I’ll probably just leave it how it is

Do you guys make a VGT turbo compatible with the old 7.3 powerstroke? Mine is a 95 model.
