I do not know on the self closing mirrors. Must be a newer year?

There is a dealership where I am. I just called and ordered the part through the parts department and picked them up. I am sure you can have the delivered as well.

Did you get it? You should be fine with a good quick force tap. You can see where it is held on. Might use a bright flashlight to look in there to see better and how it is positioned. Hope you got it!

Sorry you broke your mirror. What year is your MB and you have the C230/240? Ones I have worked on have not been self retracting and always spring-loaded. I was always careful to push the side lamp to make sure it was able to flex to a point where I wouldn't break it.

What is af retracting mirrors? Good video, can you tell me if I need to remove the plastic schell in order to replace my mirror or I can do it from outside? I couldn't find video where people remuve only the mirror. Thanks in advance
