Want to expand on it? Paint lines downwards with your grime mix of choice. Let it dry, and then fade them with a flat brush that is slightly moist with thinner. Repeat a few times and you will have a very nice effect.

Why was there grime on it in the first place? Where do you buy grime for minis? Is it like a wash?

It's an oil wash. You mix oil paint with odorless turpentine, put it all over a model, leave it for an hour or so then wipe it off. It adds a tint to the paint and looks like old grime and grease when you wipe it off (because it is :) ) people use it to create a "grimdark" look.

@@dextersamson8286 It might sound like a crazy question to you, but this is the first time I've seen someone use grime on minis. I am aware of washes and oils.

Iv seen folks use inks and mineral spirits to do recess shading. Super vivid and flows right into the recesses , then q tip and mineral spirits clean up boo Boos in a flash. Do a video on that shit!!!
