It's important to remove the interior siding and take out the old fiberglass insulation because, in most cases, the fiberglass is wet and sometimes moldy. Plus, putting newer higher quality insulation will make a huge difference

Just use extra caution welding that galvanized steel. The fumes are very hazardous. Welding thin metal is a challenge if it's your first time. Get some practice in and the settings dialed in on the welder before doing the final patch work on the bus.

Another great video! Picking up our first bus tonight, totally stoked and cant wait to get to this stage of the build. Well may just past this stage, seems pretty tedious.

We ran into the same thing pulling the side panels out today. After inspecting, it looks like the inner skin folds over the square tube frame. That's awesome you have an air chisel to use! That sure does beat putting a screwdriver on the heads of the screws & hitting it with a hammer after cutting them with the angle grinder!

galvernised steel gives off noxious fumes when heated that can give you a realy bad headacke and can become lethal if you keep going through rhe headacke

My husband and I are very interested in doing a Skoolie, but we don’t have a garage or anywhere where we can demo and start it. What would be your advice on that? Also, where would we dump or discard the the parts that we demo?

Did y'all remove that lower panel that's parallel to the bottom of the wall underneath the panels you took off here? We've just taken out the panels and insulation, and aren't sure if we want to take that part off or not.

No wonder I can’t freaking cut the metal sides out. My brother refuses to let me use a cutting wheel and gets pissy when I want to use a NON GRINDING wheel cause “I don’t trust you around a cutting wheel”. “Then help me please.” “No f**k u. Use a grinding wheel”. I’m gonna cry
