Removing permanent haze/smudge on gauge cluster - Simple cheap fix!

Does your gauge cluster have permanent smudges or haze on it? If so, this video is the solution to fix it! I had recently purchased a Dodge Grand Caravan that had a very hazed/smudged gauge cluster. The smudge would not come off no matter how much I cleaned it or how much pressure I applied. I was about to replace the entire cluster until I found using Meguiars PlastX completely restores ruined surface on the gauge cluster within minutes! This is a very simple and affordable solution!

You saved my brand new car! I bought a new car and I was installing screen protector but the wipes that came with the cheap protector etched and scratched my brand new screen! I used this method with a fine microfuber cloth and all tge scratches and haze were gone. You saved me and my OCD mind from a longterm pain. Thank you!

You're gonna be blown away at just how good it works. I was blown away by it and is why I made this video. Glad you found this video helpful. This stuff also works like magic on headlights. I just applied this to my headlights and it took away the slight fog on them and made them look crystal clear.

Do you know how to take off spray sun screen from the area where the radio is? I just got my new Murano 2022 and my lil son just decided to spray himself with it inside my car. I didn't know it was on the radio area till the next following days.

The oxidization is "permanent" just as much as a permanent marker is "permanent", unless the right thing is used to clean it. A little bit of thinking can go a long way.

This is a permanent fix. My gauge cluster looks exactly the same today as it did right after I made this video. Glad this helped you.

Never worked for my brand new charger 2022 just made it clear but didn’t remove any stains or spots my cluster is still fcked

This product removes natural oxidization, discoloration and light to moderate scratches. It's not guaranteed to work on everything, but it does do a good job restoring most plastics. Try researching methods around what is stained on your cluster. If it's a chemical related stain, it's more than likely permanent as chemicals can eat into plastic.

Yes. They were on the surface of the front.

Yes, but it requires a completely different process and tools in order to do it right.

Updated answer to the question above: I recently used this stuff on my headlights to see if it would remove the minor oxidization. It did and it made my headlights look brand new and crystal clear. The process is exactly the same as it was for the gauge cluster. I was wrong about it needing a different process with tools, but now I know.
