Hello!!!! So my sister and I have the same type of laptop model( The one being shown in the video) The thing is hers is i7 while mine is i5. Yes I do know that most cpus are soldered onto the motherboard so can I replace my i5 to i7 by also replacing the motherboard?

Hello, what could cause the screen touch of my laptop (similar as the one in the video), to stop working? I noticed it stopped working around the time i upgraded to windows 11. At first i thought it might be a driver issue, but even after reinstalling the driver, it's still not working.

Hello! I bought a second hand HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3 and it has been working fine but a few weeks ago it started behaving erratic. Finally I figuted out my problem: the laptop turns off the display when put on a flat surface. I can only use it on surfaces with at least a 15 degrees tilt. 1. Does anyone else have this problem? 2. Is there a way to fix this in Software? 3. Is it possible to replace the sensor that seems to be broken? (Is it the "Lid Close Switch" from the Maintenance and Service Guide?) 4. If the sensor is not replacable and I have to replace the screen, how do I find out if it is a L31868-001 (LCD 13 FHD AG UWVA 400), L31870-001 (LCD 13 FHD BV UWVA 400), or L31872-001 (LCD 13 FHD BV UWVA 500)? No, if that would be the case, it would definitely have its own chapter in these kinds of videos. Also, you can see when the base enclosure is removed, that there is nowhere a spot for SODIMM RAM slots. In other words, the RAM is soldered and there are no RAM expansion slots on this model.

@@HPSupport That advice is appreciated but it is hardly helpful. It provides a part number for a generic screwset but I am unable to confirm if the monitor hinge screws are there which is the only part I need nor am I then offered the option to purchase. The whole site looks an uncoordinated mess. . This is where Lenovo outperform HP - no pretention or hiding the screw dimensions for something which costs pence or cents and is a simple part as opposed to something more integral like a CPU.
