Hello, I have another question: is the z turbo drive from hp integrated into the motherboard or is it another component that needs to be attached ?

answer to my own question: The nvme SSDs are directly connected to mainboard slots. the difference between "z turbo 2280 ssd" and any normal nvme 2280 ssd is only the heat sink, that is included. that is why you find "z turbo ssd kit" as title in replacement parts catalogues online. The "kit" refers to the inclusion of that heat sink (which apparantly makes 100 of the 130 usd for a 256gb storage kit for instance as i do not see any difference in the ssd chip itself to a random samsung one for 30 usd). it seems that all machines from the HP store include a 512 gb ssd chip with heat sink as shown in the video at 7:52. HOWEVER my machine did NOT include the sata adapter from 4:19

If I bought the i7 10700 g5 mini. Would it be acceptable for me to upgrade it to the 12th core i7 if they have the same tdp?

I just bought an i7 11700 and installed it on the z2 mini g5, and found that bios could not recognize new CPU. Will HP update the bios of z2 mini g5 to support 11th intel cpu?

+Mr. Dope HP does not recommend upgrading or downgrading hardware parts or software that is bundled with the product as It may affect the manufacturer's warranty and performance, however, you could change the configuration at your own discretion.

These machines are a nightmare to work on. They don't even show the removal of the motherboard in one take. They made the board wider than the upper rim of the chassis!

Hi, Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (2x2) and Bluetooth 5 combo is the tested card for this PC, However it is not available after market, You may have to order at the time of purchase, Check the specs using below link and page 11 h20195.www2.hp.com/v2/GetDocument.aspx?docname=c06724012
