I have an older Bluebird. If yours is like mine, all of the taillight wiring will be on the chassis, the body wiring is for internal lights, speakers, etc... With the exception of the running lights. You definitely want to pull all the interior tinwork--unless you want it to rain indoors. I also can't really do spray-foam, but I have figured out how to use XPS (eXpanded Poly-Styrene) around the curves. I took photos if you're interested.

If you could repurpose those cameras you might have a good security system that you can make with buying only a small amount of new gear. Lights could be good as a low cost light source when you don’t want to run your house battery I would think. And I am also very shocked to see there wasn’t a whole lot of anything in those channels, looks like they were mostly cosmetic. Cheers!

If those cameras are capable of being used outside, place them 2 of them back of bus and 2 front of bus and if there's 2 more 1 either side of the bus. Save the wiring as you can repurpose for other uses.

That's grinder, not sander. Big difference. I say that only because many people don't know or understand the difference. Forgive me if you are not one of those people.

I would in no way drill rivets. I have many years of experience with metal. I opt to grind the heads off of the rivets and use a punch to dislodge the stem of the rivet. A rivet has what looks like a nail running through it. When installed in the metal, the head of said nail is broke off. But, the shaft is inside the rivet. And, it is hard. You will go through several drill bits. Also, some will cause you much frustration and aggravation. Rivet removal will be slow and tedious. Your bus, your project. Do as you will. Just a suggestion.
