So i just took my pain in the ass grill apart to wrap it, and i just want to add, there are 2 (hard to reach) 10mm bolts on that piece you are explaining how to pop off, you have to remove those first then the piece pops right off. Best to use a 10mm ratcheting wrench

im getting an ags check engine light, so i have to take apart the front end to get to the shutters. i was worried about breaking those side panels as well, and after watching this video im going to give it another shot. thank you sir.

hey sir. I see that you also blacked out the window sill. for all four what did you use. in addition, when you painted the grille . on the the video it looks like some parts of the chrome were a lighter black. Is that so?

Trying to get mine off a 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie to replace Active Grille Shutters (dealership wants $980). Did you loosen the black plastic "ceiling panel" in the wheel well above the tire and remove all the edge screws on the wheel arch to get it out? That 3" wide body color trim that arches over the wheel on the outside looked like its glued on tight. I'm concerned about yanking on that. Could someone explain the steps to get to that awkward large bolt in the wheel well. It's behind a black plastic wheel well "ceiling panel" in my case. Thanks

Ok so I am not crazy nor alone!! I just purchased the Delmonico Red Limited but would like the chrome to be covered on the grill and mirrors. I was told to vinyl warp or have them painted but could find no one who wanted to tackle this request under $2,500; this is excellent information. Do you have any other videos on how to separate the inner grill insert? Is that easy what tools would I need, and how long is the process. Anyway I did find on Moparwholesaleparts.com the mirror covers that already come painted with the color you need, I priced the left and right as a pack for $65.
