Thank you DJ Kittrell! I couldn't figure out how to get the old canopy down because there were no visible set screws. I used a thin flat head screwdriver (not my finger nails...lol) to pry the ring off. Mine was a little harder to remove because the electrician use glue to hold the ring in place. Thanks again.

ADDED INFO ~ When I removed the metal looking plastic piece on the bottom, there was no screws to remove. So I used this info and removed what again, looked like metal and part of the canopy. It was plastic and I had to pry it off harder then the lower piece. Once that was off, the screws were exposed and down came the ceiling fan motor that I never installed. No past paperwork or directions. Typical male that only reads directions for the articles! Thank you for taking the time to video and post on KZfaq!!! Blessings!!!

Same here Saved my ass because there is absolutely no help from Harbor Breeze Mine actually was a quarter turn counter clockwise and slid down instead of just prying off. This is the only way to access the remote receiver dip switches. After searching all of last night, this video was all I needed to solve my problem this morning. Thanks!

Newer models have a screw cap that will twist off. The heads of the bolts hold it in place.
