Tremendous amount of preparation to be done before you can even break into the part of the project that really needs to be taken care of. But that will in the long run save you time and give you a very nice finished looking project. Looking forward to this series sir. Thanks for the tag along video.

Hey John Lets Dig18 had to dig a bypass ditch on a couple of pond rebuilds! Worked really well since he had a lot of flow on those ponds!

That is a big job. Thanks for taking us along. And good luck fixing the AC on your big Kobelco. I could use that for a couple weeks if you want to rent it between jobs. I'm about 2 hours northish.

John, if you haven't already, check the compressor connector/wiring. Just because they are plugged in, doesn't mean they are making good contact. I had this exact same problem with my 1999 Pete 379. The wires inside the connector weren't making solid contact. I cut off & replaced both male & female connectors, problem solved.

If the fan blower works in side, you should check the condenser coil out side. Make sure it is not clogged up with dirt and debris and the fan for it works. If the air can't flow thru it or the fan stopped working the ac wont cool. If it has an electric fan for the condenser, some times it will work and some times it wont. It can be intermittent, before it fails completly. Just like any other ac system

Trees can cause lots of trouble on dams. When wind blows hard, trees rock & pulls dam apart, causing erosion.

Hi John love your work. Had a thought with your A/C What happens if the AC pressure sensor goes bad? The AC pressure switch is responsible for turning the system on and off in response to changes in pressure. If the switch is malfunctioning, it can cause the system to stay on when it should be off or vice versa. This can lead to a buildup of heat inside the unit, which will eventually blow into the room as warm air.

Exactly what I thought too. Just had the exact same issues on my wife's car. Spent $200 having the system vacuumed out and refilled after I told them I thought the sensor was bad. The compressor clutch was running nonstop.

I just had problems with the AC on my wife's car. I don't know if they work the same on excavators but I was having the same issue, fan working but blowing hot air. The compressor clutch was running all the time. After spending $200 to have the system cleaned out it was just a $70 AC pressure sensor causing the clutch to run all the time. Again I'm not sure if the systems are the same.

Sounds like a broken wire When it moves it comes on and off Run a new wire from a positive electric source directly to the compressor if it comes on use it see if it goes off If that isn't it try the ground with same process I hope that helps you

For that steep hill side looks like you need a Menzi Muck walking excavator. That would be better than sliding or flipping down that hill. Although I'm sure you know how to handle such a steep slope. I just know that I would be scared to death to track over the edge of that hill.

This video really hurts my feelings because as hot as the weather has been you should not be burning any brush at all but you should be mulching it or you are going to turn South Carolina into Hawaii if you insist on these type of actions.
