Chris, this has literally saved me a lot of hassle. Clocks weren't working so following this video unplugged the clocks and plugged them back in all working again. Really appreciate you taking the time to make this video!! 😁

Thanks so much for this mate! Had the dash intermittently lighting up like a Christmas tree then cutting out. Tried this and working fine now. Can confirm works on VXR/OPC models too.

Hi matey. Im glad this video helped you out. Hopefully, the fault won't reappear. Normally, if the dash lights start to illuminate like you described, it could also be a bad battery or, more likely, the alternator. Fingers crossed 🙂

Spot on mate! Had this problem on my taxi and did this and pulled the plug out and back in and everything is working great again.

Mate, I literally love you lol. Taking the clocks out and giving them a bit of clean has brought them back to life! (Hopefully won't have to do the dreaded cim fix now) if ever your in Bristol I'll buy you a pint 🍻

Thanks fore tip, must removal the cluster fore check the fuel gauge, the show its fuel in the thank but got warning of fill more fuel

@@Envy701 have romve the rear seats and take off the fuel gauge on the top of the fuel tank and the level its was 7-8 cm from bottom from the thank , but the level on the gauge in the cluster shows much more , Try Too zero test , but not works, Whats can be wrong..

hi Chris! I've got a 2005 vectra and all the gauges in the cluster keep turning off and on or just stay off for days before randomly turning back on 😭😭😭 do you think that by plugging and unplugging the cluster it will turn on again?? please help I'm in dire need!!!

Hi Jaimie. it can't hurt but what your describing is either the clocks at fault or more commonly the CIM (column integrated module) get registered on the vectra-c forum. loads of clever people to help you out for advice and replacement parts. hope that helps

Chris French hi Chris, thanks very much for your reply and I want to let you know that after watching your video I went to my car with my screwdrivers and took the cluster out myself and unplugged it and reconnected it and YAAAAAAAY I have working gauges again... I felt so proud haha I have never done anything like that but felt totally confident after watching your video.. Thank you!!!

That's brilliant to hear Jaimie. Well done for giving it your all. Hopefully that's your problem solved but if it does come back look into the CIM issue I mentioned. Quite common issue on the vecs. I'm very happy that the video helped you out. Now at least you will see if your speeding or not 😅

You have no idea how relieved I am now to have working gauges!!! I had a gps speedometer app on my phone to use but I was still soooooo anxious whenever I had to drive and use it... You are a LIFE SAVER for uploading your video!!!!!!!!!!!

@@Envy701 It is not really the CIM, it is broken welds in the cluster that need to be redone. Just to try to help people in the future
