REMUNITY SELECTED IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
The Remunity Pump is intended for continuous subcutaneous delivery of Remodulin® in adults over 22 years old. Follow the User Guide and refer to the guide for all warnings and cautions. Do not use damaged or expired disposable components or those from previously opened or damaged packaging. Discontinue use of remote and use spare remote if remote fails to operate. Use only cables, batteries, and chargers provided with Remunity. Do not disconnect the pump from the cassette while cassette is connected to the catheter. Do not expose Remunity to temperatures below 41˚F (5˚C) or over 104˚F (40˚C). The pump may affect nearby electronic devices and they may stop functioning properly. Do not open, crush, heat above 140°F (60°C), or incinerate the battery or remote, as it could cause harm.
REMODULIN SELECTED IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Use of Remodulin® may include risk of catheter-related bloodstream infections with intravenous infusion, worsening of PAH symptoms due to sudden large reductions in Remodulin dose, low blood pressure, and increased risk of bleeding. The most common adverse reactions to Remodulin include site pain and infusion site reaction (redness, swelling, and rash) which were sometimes severe, headache, diarrhea, nausea, rash, jaw pain, widening of the blood vessels (vasodilation), and swelling from fluid retention (edema). These are not all the possible side effects of Remodulin. Speak with your healthcare provider if you experience any of these side effects (optional statement, depending on intended audience).
