I hear blues, jazz and GOSPEL in there as well as everything else - and an old skool mic from around 1930 with that compressed/ live radio sound you hear on reeeeally old radio show recordings. It's f***in wicked!❤

It's incredible listening to Ren with his catalogue, traversing so many different musical styles. The one that amazed me though was him and Sam Tompkins improvising around a Stevie Wonder song, that was lyrical jazz as in there was a basic underlying beat and they seemed to be picking different covers to fit to it. Truly jaw dropping. Keep up the positive flw Cliff.

Ren said he’s dropping a new song soon called “Animal Flow”. Another called “Suicide” will drop at some point as well. He said they are his favorite songs from his new album. Can’t wait!

the beat and the genre flips remind me of that one Moby song - Natural Blues...but then we get these amazing vocals and lyrics on top of it. amazing.

One of my favourite ren songs.. there's a lyric version of this... same song, has dancing skeletons on it but has the words at the same time on the screen as the lyrics are sung. That's the only reason i picked half of it up lol. Pease check out Heretic too if you haven't already

Everyone misses the "Time for Heroes Libertines" bar. It is a classic song and the Libertines are an obvious Ren influence amongst many others!

Love this one. It's in my top picks and I know that's hard to do. I love how the beginning sounds like an old radio and then the beat hits. Then Ren and Eden sing those wonderful melodies. I would love for them to do more together. I could listen to this all day.

Never been a poetry guy, butRens lyrics awaken something in me. Yeah, he’s a rapper, but more so he’s a poet with how he connects with listeners. Eden just has a voice that pops.

Reminds me of the super-catchy EDM/sample/old-skool/analogue rock mashes of the UK in the 90s, a la Moby, Leftfield, Fatboy Slim etc. In fact I'm certain Ren grew up listening to this stuff. Love the stuff with Eden.

Great reaction again Cliff I think you should do the REN song Crucify Your Culture a whole lot of truths and bars basically I would call it a follow on from Money Game Part one and two has it features the character who played guitar in part one and the lyrics are part of the video

More Ren please, more Ren More REN Please... anything please. :)♥ Ren is a gifted writer, a great poet. Funny how people say "bars" bars are just line in poetry, I was always confused when rap lovers say bars. I didn't know what they meant at first. I'm NEW to this rap stuff, but Ren has me hooked because I write and love poetry and rhythm in words and music.

Ever seen Michael w/John Travolta? A fallen arch angel walking among us. Everybody was drawn to him in their own way. His scent was different to Everyone he made contact with. I feel like Ren is that musical equivalent. We all feel and hear something familiar in his music but can't quite piece it because he switches it up on you again.

A great reaction as always 😀. Love Ren’s collaborations - check out Jessica, an early song from Ren which gives you a glimpse of Ren at work. Penitence is another great collaboration. One of my favourite collaborations is The French Song where Ren sings with Romaine from the Big Push. Would be cool to see that.
