I have been late getting the “Ren and Co.” party, but now that I’ve arrived (fashionably late as per the usual) I am mystified!! I know ppl must say this often, but GOT DAMN YOU A TALENTED MF’ER!!! And the band is too!!!! Much success to all of you, it’s good to see talented, genuine, sincere ppl succeed!!! We have enough generic girl rappers that say the dumbest, nastiest shit, with literally no real talent whatsoever!! Y’all, however, are a fresh of breath air, especially after being inundated with so much musical refuse these days!

I’ve watched this performance many times and it always strikes me when he announces his bandmate with a “pay attention, please please please” and his full name, and highlights his amazing guitar playing. No spotlight hogging or dominating at all. Music is best when shared.

I found out about him like 2-3 days ago and I think from the first song I listened to ( Hi Ren ) I was just shocked at the talent and in my mind I already knew I was listening to one of the best and one of the most talented artists in history. Legit history, this man is up there with the great creators/artists this earth has ever birthed. We’re not even watching his best cause soon he’ll be in his prime and that is something I can’t wait for 🙌🏽

@@nimmha6708 i don’t think that there is much he can’t do, I have seen him play classical music on a grand piano, to which some one in the comments asked if the sheet music was available? Ren replied saying he was sorry there was no sheet music, it was just a little something that he made up on the spot. He can play acoustic and electric guitar, his vocal range his huge, he sings he raps and he can scat and beatbox, he makes his own beats for his raps, he produces all of his music and I’ve seen him play an instrument that I’d never seen before it’s a mini keyboard with a hose he has to blow into to play the key board. I truly don’t think there is anything in the music and performance world that he can not do! We are privileged to watch a genius at work and simultaneously get to watch as the rest of the world slowly wakes up to the “Ren Revolution”

I produce my beats myself too (flipping samples on some boom bap stuff but also compose my own melodies and kinda make all kinds of genres), write in 3 different languages, rap and record myself, play keyboard & percussion.. Just very recently discovered Ren. Hadn’t seen this. I am so blown away by this guy I can’t even put words to it. I’m a 58 year old woman who’s listened to music from toddlerhood. (There’s a picture of me standing by my moms hi fi in a diaper!). His singing voice is beautiful. His raps are amazing. His versality is incredible. But mostly it’s his message in his songs. So raw and so honest. We need Ren now. Thanks so much for sharing this. Him doing Bob Marley made my day.

Another great reaction. "The Big Push" busking sessions, concerts, and live recordings all are awesome and well worth checking out. Their covers of "Wade in the Water/Nina Simone/Trouble so Hard," “War Pigs,” "My Generation," "An Englishman in New York," “Bongo Bong,” the songs "Oh My Woman," “Swan Song,” “Sweet Little Lady," "It's Alright," "Watch Out," “Dignity,” and so many others are equally impressive. The band performed their last official busking session and gave their last concert in September of last year due to the fact that Ren was leaving for Canada to undergo medical treatment for his multiple health issues, including surgeries.

Maaan i live in Los Angles where all the artists from every corner of the world come to get discovered , if youre an artist trying to make it you come to LA and I aint see no damn street performances like this EVER ! Not on Sunset blvd or Hollywood blvd not in Venice nothing! This was a damn concert people would pays hundreds of dollars to see and they just out here in an alley next to a bus stop for free stacking a hoard of people jamming out who were just walking by! Dude, Romain and Gorran (his bandmates in The Big Push) are both monsters in their own rights. I loved your reaction to this one & I have watched so many reactions to a large amount of his work. Besides The Big Push, he also does duets with Sam Thompkins (?spelling) & at least 3 women too. All are outstanding. Yes. All. are. Outstanding. Also the band mates have their own solo on You Tube too. Right now while Ren is in Canada for medical & recovery they continue to do their own work.

Totally agree ..I too just recently ran across this artist a cpl months ago & couldn't agree more that this guy IS on his way. Very versatile & amazes me he seems so young but seems to have a great & eclectic taste in diff. genre's & eras showing great diversity in some dope AF music. AND THAT I CAN DEFINITELY JAMS WITH🤘😎🔥🔥🔥
