I loved this remix. First of all the police were my favorite band growing up. You can’t miss how influenced ren’s sound is when you listen to Sting. I love how groovy the back on 74 was and the ladies were great and Kai on the bass was great too. I loved it. ❤

In my head, Ren just walked into a Jazz club with his guitar and camera guy and this just happened spontaneously.

This was another brilliant ReNtake. Just Ren doing Ren things. Crazy runs and harmonies, guitar flexing, some filthy bars to remind us that he is also still a cheeky boy, and that voice that’s perfect for Sting/The Police songs. Ren has music in his soul and pours so much soul into everything he does. Also I am noticing that even though a lot of people discovered Ren through the hip hop tracks off Sick Boi or got recommended checking him out if into hip hop, everyone seems to agree that his singing is just something extra special. Even when it’s rappers/rap lovers who love breaking down his clever bars. When our boi starts singing, he’ll make a RENegade out of (almost) anyone and everyone 🐰🕳️ I can’t wait for the next album and hearing him sing on some new original tracks. These retakes are a perfect way to keep us happy and moist down the rabbit hole while we wait though 😏🤣

My college training was in early childhood education. One of the key tricks I learned was "always leave them wanting more." Stop the game while they're still at the height of their enjoyment. That way it never gets old, and they're always ready to revisit. I feel like Ren does the same thing. We're a bunch of eager pre-schoolers, and Ren is our teacher. 😂
