I'll check your other MG reaction after, this one is truely a master piece! He compose all the music, the violon actualy play a version of the music Money Game 1, re-arange by Ren. It was shot with 1 cut (beind the weelchaire cuz their were no place to be cut befor the rain, so about 15 takes befor the cut, and an other 15 befor the rain, after the rain start no stoping, one of the lady reveived water but was a real trouper and didn't move, the violon was safe but the bow neede repare. Every thing about this MV is so complexe and beautyfully done, the music, the set, the light, the sound, the deep lyric and the delevry. Charles who played the piano had an in-ear to follow Ren flow perfectly, playing with the bag wouldn't allow him to read a music sheet, so well done. Ren should give some show next year, he have to take care of his health firs, finishing his traitement in Calgary in few month if every thing goes well, after that more music. Can you belive he did all the behind the scene work (including this video) having treatment with in IV 5 days a week for the last past year? Over his talent, I admire his dedication to his art, I admire his wellingness to give it all and keep on beliving that we can make a better world. For me he is ... I have no word. Thank you to support Ren.

Did you notice the violins were playing about with the riff from Money Game part 1 & 2... Ren wrote all of the music parts in this... I would love to hear the musician's stories who also played on this live, it must have been an unusual experience for them...

The perfect reaction to this amazing performance. Ren is out there in his own league. Just heard he is currently No 1 in the UK with one days sales to go, all from an Indie Artist!!

This is an amazing work of art. Recorded live - the vocals, the instruments, Ren's acting, the camera work - in one-shot with two planned cuts, one when Ren takes off the hood, and one in the wheelchair. Just Ren's acting alone is remarkable - hell, just the state of his suit blew me away as it becomes increasingly more disheveled. This one is definitely worthy of multiple views, there is so much to be appreciated here. And Ren is just getting started, he seems only limited by his resources. This was all recorded in a single empty warehouse, a man's entire life story laid out on the floor. Incredible work by Ren and his friend with the lens, Sam.

Technically there is one edit in the video. It is on the shot that goes behind Ren while he is sitting in the wheelchair and comes around to reveal the strings. I think he said it took about 17 takes for the first part about half that for the second part. He says it is likely the last of the Money Game videos. I think he wants to keep it as a trilogy like Jenny, Screech and Violet.

FYI, he did say that this is something he had really seen as a trilogy, so while money and capitalism is always something he'll revisit, this is just what he wanted to accomplish with Money Game. OH! And the part with the quartet was all a true one take. There is a cut when they moved the wheel chair, and he only had one suit so they had to get it perfect nad did. They had to buy the one violinist a new bow though. Watch over his shoulder.

Finally his IS number 1!What a story...

it is 2 one takes cleverly put together due to logistic matters according to Ren´s own words in one of his recent life streams on Twitch...the first one take goes from the beginning till to the moment the camera cirlcles Ren sitting in the wheel chair and when the camera is straight behind Ren´s wheelchair there is the cut...the second one take begins from there =starting with the camera straight behind the wheel chair finishing the revolving move and goes on till to the end of the video...when I remember correctly the first one take took roughly 15 trys or so and the second one took then 9 trys...those logistic matters were for instance loading the gun which was a tricky issue because he needed 2 magazines one for putting real bullets into the magazine while being in the frame and one with blanks because due to law it is forbidden in the UK to load a gun with real bullets on a film set so there was a guy out of the frame with the other magazine loaded with blanks in order to exchange it quickly in the short moment when the frame is soley on the gun laying on the table..also the rain was an issue..because everthing including Ren himself had to be dried up for the next try.

Good morning from Florida. Glad to see your three Money Game reactions today. My thoughts: Needs, wants and greed has been the decline of humanity. I get closer and closer to my "end of days" and I think I am glad that I will no longer be around when everything has collapsed completely. It's getting close though. I kept wondering what will I be missing when people finally "get it"? I don't think I have to wonder anymore. There are still way too many humans that are just greedy. Just like Jimmy's father in this case. Where is the pride in Jimmy by his father with all he accomplished. After the good stuff Jimmy went off the rails and daddy dismisses him and I believe thinks him a loser. I think I know someone like that, selling lies seems more profitable for greedy and green hungry individuals. I am hoping that more younger people are hearing Ren and his wisdom. That part in this that got me was a memory from my past with the gun. Long story but with quick intervention, he didn't do it and he and our family survived.

I think Ren said there were 16 or 17 takes for the first part upto the wheelchair spin around, then one cut and the string section was 8 or 9 takes. Basically two.... One take videos put together all sung and played live. The rain scene was only performed the one time as Ren only had one suit and they didn't have enough time to let everthing dry out..... Thanks

Another very enjoyable reaction. Money Game Part 3 is, in my opinion, Ren’s best work to date, and the bar he previously set was already incredibly high to begin with. It is an amazing and thought-provoking piece of performance art. At the beginning of Jimmy’s life, “one year old and his first words were’ mine, mine, gimme’; two years, old he was walking; three years old, walking quickly; four years old he was running around the pavement of his city. Then, “40 years old, and he cursed the words ‘mine, mine, gimme’; 41, he wasn’t walking; 42, not walking quickly; 43, never running around the pavement of his city.” ROM (@ROMsquad) during their reaction pointed out the irony that Jimmy was focused on chasing wealth and fame only to lose his ability to run as a result. This wasn't a total one-take but two separate one-takes. The video was a one-take up to the wheelchair getting turned around. They had to cut there in order to prepare for the rain scene in the end. It could only be done once because Ren only had this one suit and his pants were about to get soaked. Moreover, the lavalier mic needed to be moved from his jacket lapel to his red tie and covered to keep it from getting wet.

And yet another with those chasing the American Dream, following The Rules yet not let into ´The Club´ MONEY GAME could literally cover all the perspectives of the money game as it starts in the family home.
