Here’s one of the things that makes Ren a GREAT artist… He is wildly talented but as you can see , he puts those who he collaborates with in the light and allows them the space to shine( while he is in the background). Of course Ren kills it when it’s his time- and you can see the smile on Sam’s face. I think my favorite part though is when they look at each other and sing “ Loving You Darling “ you can see how in sync they are; AND when Sam hits that long high note on You Ren gives him a “ Woo”.

Ren “discovered” a very young Sam trying to busk without a mic & went up & told him he had a great voice but people couldn’t hear him. He offered his guitar & mic to Sam, but he couldn’t play so Ren sat down & played with him for a couple hours. He said Ren didn’t even know the songs but was still accompanying him & he ended up with over 200 pounds that Ren let him take home. A lifelong friendship was born. They have several songs they did together along with their busking sessions. 💜

You probably have heard Ren beatbox before but just didn't realise it. He does it on a lot of his tracks. Some good examples of him doing so spontaneously are on a Ren clip called 'Ren - Spontaneous Stream Jam'. It's not an official Ren video. It's part of one of his live Twitch streams. Those are posted by Ren but they're long. Someone took the ending of one of those, only about 15 minutes. People had been asking him to sing/play but he wasn't set up for it. In the end he decided to anyway, disappeared and then reappeared with his acoustic and just played/sang whatever came into his head. It's definitely worth watching. Especially as it's all genuinely spontaneous! I highly recommend it! :)

Ren’s range is just stupid 😅 Sam has that buttery smooth RnB voice and is so at home on those high notes, but Ren can go high too and his voice is sooo good in the lower range too. Personally I also just find him more interesting 😅 There is just something about Ren. This is a man who truly loves music and it shows in every little detail.

It’s my first time on your channel so I’m looking forward to checking it out. Did you say one reaction to Ren a week until you get done? Let’s see he said he has 1000 songs in his catalog at 52 weeks a year so you guys will be about 245 years old by time you finish doing Ren I’m here for it. He only has out about 100 right now, so you only signed up for two years currently.! lol it’s OK because he’s the best artist going today hands down. I mean I don’t know if I’ll ever ever dethrone tool for me but I’m talking solo artist. Sam Tompkins lose yourself is amazing! Like the modern day Prince, Ren can do everything! I only issue with this video is what is Ren wearing on Miami Dolphins number 56 jersey? that’s supposed to be New York Giants LT! Who the hell is 56 on the Dolphins?? You guys have to watch Genesis live by Ren does some crazy beatbox/operatic solo fantastic at the end of his verses. He probably is even a master on the piano.😉 I guess you haven’t checked out his band the big push. Some of the crowds that they get in the street are crazy and they’re amazing anyway looks like you have a lot of subscribers. I’m gonna add myself to the list. Hopefully you’ll get around to a couple of those songs I recommended. I’m sure you guys are busy recommendations. By the way, it’s called busking and it’s big in the UK, kind of like subways in New York and he did that for many years with his band and solo.
