Spent 2 weeks in 5150 voluntarily after I cut so deep I found that last vein. My dog kept me alive. Kept me from making that easy cut. I'm here for you brother. Ren does this to us. The reaction community and ren kept me alive. Kept me sober. If I feel like relapsing or ending it. I watch people like you. Now you're my savior.

Trained by people that have experienced that loss of a patient. But stayed. Maybe not for good reasons other than. To pay bills. You weren't that person. You cared so you left. As a former child/adolescent behavioral health RN, I appreciate your perspective on this subject. The kids I worked with were pumped full of meds and the root causes of their condition were rarely addressed. You are correct on the current health system and it is a disservice to those in need. His song Su*ide is partially to honor his childhood friend who jumped from a bridge. Heartwrenching it is. The hate you mentioned isn't always only because people put themselves on a petal stool. It's also because they are afraid to look in the mirror and see the same struggles they see in those they mock. It's such a simple concept to just be kind. To understand that every single person has their own story, their own demons and struggles. We are all part of the same planet. Why can't so many people see that?

Many times, my nightly prayer was, "Please, just let me go to sleep and never wake up." A line in a poem I wrote years ago was, "But the sun did rise, and I remained destined to repeat my pain." Chinchilla is a UK artist and a rising star on the British music scene. Ren refers to her as his musical sibling. She was a supporting act on Sting's 2019 European Arena tour and the opening act for the 2021 McFly tour. Chinchilla has also played some big European music festivals. Chinchilla recently split from her management team and is now a fully independent artist. This is the first video I've seen from you, so I don't know if this is how open and vulnerable you typically are, but I've noticed that the people who react to and really get Ren resonate at a different level with his music. Thank you for being genuine. You're going to get SO MANY comments telling you what Ren songs to do next. Most of them hit me on a truly emotional level. I'm a 50 year old guy that happens to be a therapist and, while it's not uncommon for the beauty of music to make me cry, Ren's music just hits my emotions on every single level. Gotta mix in some of the fun tunes like Losing It and What you Want to balance out the songs like this and Crutch and Dominoes. Suggest the Love Music 1-4 songs. So appropriate, because Ren has really made me love music again. I hope you continue your journey into Ren's music!!!

I think RENs music has helped me stay alive this year. REN, Aurora & Dimash. Listening to them has literally helped me stay out of deep water & away from blades! It’s always there, that option, but I’m able to quieten the voice that makes them tempting options. For that to happen, as a response to these artists gifts to the world, is huge, and I know for sure I’m not the only person for whom this is true. It’s been a shitty few years for the world, but this year in particular has been really bad for me. It’s rare to find understanding, but to find it in communities on KZfaq is...amazing. You don't know me and all I know of you is what you've posted. That being said you have had a positive impact in my life. I know well the feeling of wanting to check out, it is one of the hardest things I deal with and your reactions have helped me. I would recommend Ren's song Su*cide, he lost a good friend to it and the song is, I think, cathartic.

You said music kept you alive and keeps you alive. Ren has said the same thing. There's several great interviews with Ren where you can hear more about his life.

We must not forget, that we are human beings. So much if Rens music is about the struggle of his life, not just his illness and misdiagnosis but the loss of his friend Joe. And another friend to but Joe’s loss hit harder. His death comes up over and over.

Thanks for being so open and sharing your thoughts. This is definitely why people love Ren as his art so clearly pulls these emotions out of us and gets us talking about things that matter. The Renegade’s as a community group are one of the best for supporting each other and that all trickles down from REN’s message. I recommend you watch his one million subscribers video to get a gist of what he stands for. Whether you react to it or not it’s just a good watch. In terms of music. Given what you said sick boi is a good recommendation as it’s aimed at the medical industry. If you don’t know Ren lost his best friend to suicide when he was young. He received a call saying his friend was going to jump off a bridge and Ren ran there but was a couple of minutes too late. If you are willing to go deep on this subject there are four songs I recommend, Freckled Angels, How to be me Live, Suicide, For Joe. If you want to lighten the mood there’s plenty but some with his band (The big Push) will show you a different side. Sending you a hug my friend. I too have those thoughts at times. Especially right now as my purpose has been taken from me. How am I supposed to go on when I have no purpose? It's these reaction videos and music like Ren's and NF that keep me posing through. Because I know I'm not alone in feeling this way. It makes it all a little easier. On the really tough days I submerse myself in music. It's the only thing that keeps that string that I'm hanging on by from completely fraying.

I'm a 58 year Scottish guy who was brought up to be told don't show feelings it's a weakness, it made me who i am cos i went against that nonsense. i shed tears to music etc. that captures me. i can tell you wear your heart on your sleeve and you shoot from the hip. my life lesson in all my years is have a good ear and a big shoulder for someone who needs it ANYONE. this me myself and i attitude with nearly every1 is killing off emotion and caring for each other. love your passion your words your feelings you let out. your a good man and you've a big heart. keep being you my brother ✊️✊️👍
