@@eadbert1935 They showed how it works in the video. It's literally chemtech soul except there's a condition that if you kill someone before you die to the burn you will survive. Alternatively you can view at it as a better GA on a champion's basic ability.

@@vida2559 let me get more detailed, as there are differences in both directions. +chemtech couldn't be circumvented by killing someone later (not every zil-ult is good) +chemtech was on whole team -chemtech had -40% dmg (especially annoying if you had DoTs on the enemy and you actually missed a kill because you got soul) -chemtech reduced hp -chemtech had revive time. -chemtech revive would always be temporary -chemtech didn't give bonus stats do you remember how many enemies you walked away from during chemtech? it was useless on about 75-90% of revives. the issue was that the rest was so OP that chemtech still was the strongest of the drakes (while nerfing DoTs). now if only 20% of your team can actually get revived by this, this will make it a lot weaker than the drake. what i think the effect needs is a revive time, similar to zil/sion/chemtech, so give a chance to put some distance in and make the revive harder and this seems pretty balanced IMO. ofc i can't predict how it will actually look in-game until it's off PBE (never look at PBE footage to determine how good a champ is), but a new mechanic can always be balanced.

@@eadbert1935 Yep. Maybe they add the damage reduction on Renata, too. Also, the chemtech buff lasted longer. This only lasts 3 seconds, and you must get a takedown. Also, numbers don't matter on her, at all. Her Q, W, R are all utility that will be useful regardless if she has 0 items or 6 item full build. Overall pretty nice.

Ulting your team during the friendly fire most likely is trolling too since her ult will be used mainly as an engage tool. Giving them 4 more sec to regroup and shit on you immobile team is just as bad, hell even during teamfight.

Not really considering it's shorter and only affects one person. Soul effected the entire team. This is just similar to other good carry peel abilities like Lulu R where you select 1 person to make harder to kill.

The banish effect is part of the strength of Zil ult, much like Zhonya’s. If the revived person were locked in an animation but still targetable that would be more “fair” maybe.

The "Stasis" part of Zilean/GA passive is a pretty large part of the thing, the amount of time you can gain with it is pretty good

The ult may be balanced for pro play but for the majority of players its completely unbalanced. It feels like this champ is going to get the aphelios, samira treatment and its abilities get adjusted. Like for example remove the revive on her w, like they removed aphelios infinite range or samiras ability to jump back on allys and allied creeps.

@@hanspeter-fs4in the ult is literally slower than nami ult and very telegraphed since she has a cast time, theres also QSS and tenacity to reduce the already short duration of 1.75 seconds. its a balance ability since its only powerful if there's a fed autoattacker in the enemy team. the ult is balanced the W is a bit overloaded but well see in game.

Her kit as a whole is just ridiculously hard to play around. You can't commit to a fight when her W is active or your kill on their adc could turn into a double kill for them and no kill for you. If you manage to play around her W cd and go for a fight, she can just pop ult and then you and the support will be fighting each other, Renata, and the adc. If you manage to survive that, her W cd could be back and then you are fighting a buffed adc with a chemtech dragon buff that could lead to them surviving if they get a takedown. If you manage to survive that she can just root you and push you away and disengage. She is going to be permabanned in pro play lmao.

Illaoi for one had the muscly male body as a base. Edit: which basically gives you a limitation ingame that wouldn't exist if every model would be made ground up from scratch but would also mean notably higher time investments needed. And would probably make champs cost RP again.

@@dashocker760 I dont think you get it. She dies in 3 seconds if she does not kill anyone. But she does not get full HP if she does kill someone. Meaning if jynx gets the W, and she has 1200 hp lets say, if she kills someone in 1.5 seconds she will have 600 hp when she gets "revived". If she needs 2 seconds then she will have 400 hp. And this does not count any extra damage you do to her while she has the W active. So yes, she might revive, but might do so with no HP , and out of position since she will be pushing for a kill. I think it is fairly more balanced than spam heal, which will provide more HP at the end of a long fight. Unless she gets the kill exactly the moment she revives

She won't be that good. People don't mention it, but she is a Shield support. Shield supports have the weakness of having no sustain, and the strenght of being able to deal easly with engage ( Janna Tornado Lulu Whimsy) Well she does not have a disengage ability, hers is a skill shot. So she is literally a overtuned champion with a baddly designed kit, because she disrespects the design rules of champions. What will be overtuned on release is her R cc time and her base dmg/AA dmg. But kit wise, sounds broken, but in a real situation is not great because of how much abuse you can do at her before lv 6.

if you are a good support you can make the revive come up every time you use it, by using in the right timing

Yes! I thought the exact same thing. Another ability that I think really defines the character is her W. An adrenaline-esque drug that when you die she gives you a second chance, with the price of having to dispose a threat for her. Imagining all of this in a real battle makes it disturbing but extremely badass.

The thing about her is that she doesn't really have any sort of direct healing she could do. The W ability probably won't matter too much if you're able to kill whoever it's on and just get the fuck out or play LoS in the bushes for 3 seconds total. Her R is a better Sona ult and that's pretty cool.
