Today we have a look at an overlooked car in the Middle East and try to figure out why it's isn't popular. The French car maker has been trying hard to penetrate the Middle Eastern market focusing on the extreme weather conditions in the region. Has it worked? Well lets first start with the pocket rocket from Renault, the Megane GT. The medium rare hatch.

I've owned this Megane GT for 7 months now and I haven't had any problems. My previous car was the same Megane but in Dynamique (1.6 manual) guise. Never had any issues with either one, and people always wanna take a closer look at it. Zee in South Africa.

I'd like to say big thanks to you cuz I was in a dilemma between the Peugeot 308 and the Renault Megane and this video was the axe who splitted the dilemma. Megane rocks ! Got it in the INTENS version with 140 hp and 240 Nm of torque (and it's so good)

This GT is out of production from 2019... sad because is one of the best Renault car ever made... so.. is not 2020 model.. the little 1.6 Nismo engine is a beast...

Should be gt but with all rs mods like brakes 2 exhaust not one and 240hp at least 😅

Owned my Megane GT for 6 years now one of the best cars I’ve ever had. Still drives like new , don’t want to part with it, but I will have to one day.

Looking for one for a while know, i hear the gearbox can break down easier because it can’t handle torque well. Do you have any experience with this?

Très bonne voiture sportif de 205 CV, avec le 4 control , lunch control et palettes au volant, consommation moyenne 8.0 l/100 👍❤ ! Dommage que Renault à arrêter la production, maintenant il faut choisir entre 160 CV ou 300 CV 😡 !

Bonjour à vous. Je viens d’acheter cette voiture en occasion le 16 avril 2021 en reprogrammation full éthanol stage 1de 240 cv 300 nm. Franchement trop bien c’est de la balle 🇫🇷👍🏻😍. 17/05/2021

@@srwt8491 : Bonjour à vous, j'en avais une et je roulais avec de la super 98 E5, ce n'est pas conseillé de rouler à l'éthanol avec ce genre de voiture ! J'avais une garantie de 5 ans / 120.000 km, je ne pouvais pas modifier le moteur au risque que Renault n'intervient plus pour la garantie ! 😉

The megane is spectacular as an alfa romeo lover I don't think the giulietta in terms of comfort interiors is as much

I have a Giulietta...I like it, but I have to admit the quality on this looks much better. You get better tech, interior, build quality and comfort. Especially if you have a family, the Megane GT is the better option. But I'm guessing it's also more expensive?

Best car I have owned in 30+ years of driving , and I've owned lots and lots of cars , it's a well balanced vehicle , put a TDI tuning chip and you will get close to rs performance out of it ...

What kind of numbers are you getting in terms of Horsepower and Torque and have you had to do any supporting mods like Downpipe/Cold air intake/Sports Cat?
