The most helpful ever i struggled to close that dam clip for hours

This video saved me about 30 quid, after watching it, I could feel my way through the job easy peasy, only prob I had was putting the wires back on the spade connectors, I misaligned it the first time, and the lights didn't work, but after a few attempts I got it, I have no idea why you have any thumbs down, I can only think its from Renault dealerships :)

Nice clear video mate, actually better than all the other lengthy instruction videos that completley miss dealing with the clip, which is the hard bit if you don't know what it looks like.

@henrikduende probably way tooo late now but for anyone else with a 2004 or other (same). The video doesn't give a commentary but To take off the clip what you need to do is push the top part of the clip in, then slide it right.it'll probably click or spring out and hit your finger.. either way this part is easy. Putting it back on is not the reverse (aka don't push right then push in). Instead again push the top till you feel the top of the clip hit the metal hook, then push it right and in again. Then relax and let it go left. The spring pressure will fight you and push it back in under the clip.. hard to do with no eyesite but you'll get it. Things to remember You HAVE to come in through the wheel well, take the plastic lock of twisting anti Clockwise Take the wire on the light blub of BEFORE you take of the clip, or you run the risk of putting the clip on to get the wires off (just wiggle and pull) The cut away on the light blub goes to the top. The light blub is a H7 after 2002 not sure til when though The plastic cap can only go on in one position. Look at the back and you will see a plastic part sticking out, this usually slide in at about the 5 o'clock position then twist to lock Car tire usually helps to have it turned full lock, I prefer the front out not in. More difficult to get started but when in straight arm doesn't get blocked. The front right (when looking from front seat) you can see a bit from the motor compartment, some have success coming in from this way, not me. Hope it helps someone, chalk it up to another of a million Renault fails.

Ace thank you.As all the work is done by feel, so it's nice to be able to see what your fiddling with.I was anxious, as I couldn't see the spring clip,it may just pop off and then it's lost for ever inside the front end.Damn you Renault.How to fall out of love with a nice car.

Renault is the suckiest car ever made come light change, been at it for 4hrs now, i just CAN´t fit the clip back i have a 2004 megane, i wonder is they are diffrent.
