So much class, so much poise, such beauty and a sense of humor......no need to even mention that Madame Fleming was 57 at the time of this recital. A true legend. Hope to meet her one day.....I would be so honored to have met the greatest America.n soprano of all time.

It always brings me to tears. I had the last night of the proms 2007 and her rendition recorded. My beautiful wife Margie and I watched it many times. And I would say that the gown was a cheap knock off my wife would get mad and say it cost thousands! We played it at my wife’s funeral in February 2019 they were both Valentine’s Day girls!... I love it, but it hurts!... xx 💔💕💕

She is the best ever and even at 57, there are not many, if any, that come close. She still gives me shivers down my spine when she sings

I remember her in her " biginning" at the met in NYC. .and she said very courageously that she would sing until her voice gave out.. Diva Renee has outlived the crictics.
