One of my favorite Blake Shelton stories was a news story local to me (I live on the Texas side of Lake Texoma and usually I will fish at the Hagerman NWR and hunt at the Bois Darc section of Caddo.) Some guys were at the lake (Oklahoma side) fishing and got stuck. Who happened to be scooting along on an ATV? Blake Shelton. So, he said, in so many words, "hang tight, fellas." And went and got his tractor and pulled them out of the mud. He didn't have to do anything. Or, he could have just called someone. Instead, he put muscle and sweat into it. That is a class act. And the company you keep speaks volumes. I also like Luke Combs, and not just because he is a good singer. He is very much like a lot of guys I know. He does not have any airs to put on. What you see is what you get. These are good people and I wish I could be there hunting with them and not just being a fan boy and star gazing. Just hunting with people who's job happens to be superstar, et al.

@@ryanawilson8549, this is common knowledge with Gwen Stefani fans. Including me. I just don't think it is all that important. Look, wether you eat meat or not, hunting in those kind of places is needed to keep a balance with the animals. I love animals in the wild. But I do understand the need to hunt animals to prevent from an overload of animals. There will always be groups of people against it and I do understand their feelings. But when asked what to do with an overload of some groups of animals, they don't know the answer. I am against hunting, for instance, in Africa, on elephants, tigers, lions. There is not an overload, but shortage!!! In those places/countries, there is NO reason to hunt. But in Oklahoma and places like that, there are not enough predators for instance, the white tailed deer. It is not always that easy. And we have an overpopulation of people and that will stay that way because we all want to live longer. But we need a place to live and those places are found on the grounds where wild animals live as well. Maybe we should stop getting children, but getting children is also the circle of life. Maybe we should stop digging so hard to find cures for illnesses. But our drive to live is higher than the drive to die a natural death. It is that simple, but at the same time it is why it is all so complex.

@ReneedeBruin2 жыл бұрын
@@nancycolangelo5350, at least they don't let the meat go to waste. Also, would you rather have an overload of population with the animals? It is a situation that there is not enough of other animals to eat them. Animals eat each other. If there is not enough of that, than overpopulation will happen. They don't hunt like hunters in, for instance Africa, where elephants, tigers and so on are being hunted and where it is not needed to hunt. There is a difference.

Can't they bond over something other than hunting? These are multi millionaires who don't need to hunt for food. Also it's kind of sad to see such a lack of diversity in country music.
@ReneedeBruin2 жыл бұрын
This hunting is not because of food, but to prevent from an overload of animals. Animals who don't have enough or no enemies. In the wild, like in Africa, animals eat each other and therefore the population is balanced. Unfortunately there is hunting done if Africa with no good underlying reasons. The hunting that you see mostly in the videos that I posted on my channel, is done mostly because there is not enough enemies to kill each other naturally. And an overload of animals will happen if they are not killed. That is why there are hunting seasons and only an amount of the animals are being killed, so the population will stay healthy. It isn't perfect, but still better than having an overload of animals in which they can't survive either. Because they need food too and there isn't enough.
@Nargle19.2 жыл бұрын
These men were not all born multi millionaires. Some of these men have been taught by there families for generations the tradition of hunting. Fyi, this is not Blake’s channel, but mine. So, I don’t shoot the animals. I don’t like the shooting either, but he lives in an erea where there is not real other/enough prey for the animals and that makes for overpopulation. To keep it healthy, they shoot some of the animals and they are only allowed to do that while in hunting season. Even in my small country (The Netherlands) there are an amount of deer huntings to keep the population healthy. But I totally agree it is not nice to see at all, still…it is a reality.
@Nargle19.2 жыл бұрын
There is no natural predator for the wild hogs in our area. They are an invasive species. They destroy property, destroy crops, steal food from cattle, can attack family pets such as dogs. The males can weigh over 300 pounds and their tusks are weapons. To hunt legally, safely, and to provide a meal for your family and friends, that is good.

They don't hunt for fun. In this case it is because of over population. As long as there is wildlife with not enough natural predators to kill them, then something must be done. If you do have a better idea, spill it! This is not about hunting lions, tigers, elephants. They don't live there. There is a lot of deer out there. Too much. The hunting is done within strict rules. They are not allowed to hunt endless.
@fnusecurity5112 Жыл бұрын
Hunting Season is controlled in a lot of countries to keep wildlife in check. Like in Kansas the have a Elk Hunt that only 100 Tags are sold for the whole year. If you don't have a tag, guess what, you don't get to hunt it. If you get caught shooting out of season or not having a tag. The fines and Jail time might get you with the life time ban from owning a gun and hunting.
@Dawnfrnj Жыл бұрын
What is sad is your unintelligent blanket statement. Have you ever actually thought about the environmental impact if the deer, wolf, bear, wild boar, etc. populations exploded to unmanageable levels? Deer would starve to death, and leave carcasses everywhere. I'd never hunt but I took the time to learn. Responsible Hunters pay for their licenses and tags, and only hunt until their limits. The fees from licenses go into wildlife management programs for birds, fish, land management, etc. Educate yourself, because responsible hunting is an important part of taking care of our planet.
@DMWolFGurL Жыл бұрын
LOL! Not only is it regulated, there may come a day when food prices are so high that people are begging to learn to hunt and such. I think that day is coming and it's not like they hunt and just leave the carcasses to rot, they actually use what they hunt, for not just food, but other things as well.
