Hi Steve, another interesting video - thanks. You might want to add a rubber bush into the the mount holes to stop it twisting the mounting brackets as the axle changes angle

Just started watching you Chanel, and I am enjoying it. This video answered my question of what that part is. I'm toying with the idea of building a cyclekart, and parting with my sandrails. I do have one suggestion for you shock mount. If your frame material is thin where you welded your upper mount it may start to flex and crack with the up and down rocking of the shock.. I would recommend a small gusset on the top of it.

Thanks, I am also thinking about a Heim Joint. As it seems to have some twisting action if only one wheel is on bump

Will you be doing a comparison, before and after of how the CycleKart handles? It would seem having some type of dampening would be better than nothing. I thought if I built a cyclekart, I would consider installing bicycle shocks. However that style of shock may not be in the spirit of the cyclekart theme.

Right, the shocks do help. Stiffer front suspension seams to be a bit more predictable.
