Hey everyone! This is a chunky ring tutorial that is geared towards men, but really...I think all jewelry is unisex. Please enjoy! Also- It's a bit longer because I cover the patina and polishing process in this video. ta ta!
Materials needed
Chunky Ring
3 pieces 7 inches in length of 16 gauge wire
1 piece 3 feet in length of 24 gauge wire
Smaller ring uses 20 gauge base wires and 28 gauge wire
Please consider joining my patreon community for behind the scenes content and giveaways! Patrons also have access to a private Facebook community where you can ask questions and receive answers about the tutorials.

I know it's an old vid but in case you see this ...this is absolutely jaw-dropping! I love love love a chunky unisex ring because they sell well AND they bring eyes to your wares that may just pass you by otherwise. Lol. And YOU, my dear....have nailed it!!!! So much versatility in this design as well, with the use of versatile gauges. THANK YOU!!!!❤

For future reference, if you're in a pinch and you don't have any to patina your items you can use eggs. You boil your eggs like you're going to make deviled eggs, get a small Tupperware container and put paper towel down and on one side of the container break open you know peel the shell off and then smash up the egg and put that on its own separate paper towel on the side and then lay your jewelry pieces on the other side and cover it and it will patina your items a little tip for the day for anybody who would like to know that. Thanks for sharing that beautiful ring it's cute and I like it and I like all your items as well

Thanks So Much for the info. How long does it take to patina jewelry this way? I am excited to try it out!

If you do use an egg of course you you know boil it like you're going to make deviled eggs. Put a paper towel lined in a tupperware container and you know mash the egg up, and on another piece of paper towel you put the piece of jewelry on and then put the cover on the Tupperware. If you use one egg it could take up to I think about an hour also depending on how big the piece of jewelry is as well. But it works and of course the longer you let it set in the Tupperware the dark of the patina

Best tutorial ever 🥳! From start to finish! I know that going from process to total finish would get repetitive if it were done each time, but… there’s not enough of them for people that are stepping up their wrap game. Your design(s) is so great, love the unisex option always. Your tips from journal on hand, to tools… ring mandrel with work bench hole. Showing and talking about files and proper usage. Talking about liver of sulfur and safety (about drains…also they want to neutralize before ground dumping too). And finishing yes 👏! Sand paper, polishing pads the Dremel and accessories you’ve used, that are tried and true. Sorry I got all gushy but I am so happy about it. Even if these are things I know (not about those Dremel discs, I will be getting them, thank you) but it has everything that I’ve searched for throughout my wire journey. ✌️❤️

You should start every tutorial using 16 guage wire with a disclaimer: this wire is for use by YOUNG CARPALS !!! 🤣🤣🤣 An old timer like me who buys 16 guage ends up not using it all sometimes. I got to the end of it and just gave up. Forget twisting 16 guage square wire! 😩 That's young man's work! 🤣🤣❤️❤️

I REALLY like this ring design. I have just started wire weaving and decided to make this as my 1st attempt at a ring. I used 18g & 26g as that's what was available. It was a challenge considering my limited tools and experience. No mallet? A wooden rolling pin works. No plastic tip pliers? Regular ones with painters tape works. You get the idea. It's not perfect, but I did it, and all thanks to your fantastic video. Thank you & you bet I subscribed.

One of the best tutorials I've seen yet! From anyone. I'm going to make one of these rings for my husband. We've been married almost 29 years and he's never had a wedding ring (due to his work he didn't really want/need to wear one). This is awesome 💞.

Hello. I love your ring and your tutorial. I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, however the "career spell checker" in me found an error in your pattern description. Your materials called for 7" of 16 ga wire, but instead of putting 3' of 24 ga wire you put 3".
