Because it's backwards "Entry of the gladiators" was originally for strong men and other "gladiator" type performances. Then someone had the idea what if we played it but as a joke the clowns came out instead? People thought it was funny but they re-used the joke so many times the music was associated with clowns instead of other things.

PSSH was not reliable... drum mag had big problems so they went back to stick mags. It also had a nearly 1000rpm rate of fire, and ejected brass straight up and back down on top of you unless you were moving. BURNING RAIN!

The thing with Canadians in war, is that we are efficient, serious and innovative. We will find the easiest, safest and most efficient solution to problems in a war. We won’t go as far a causing a war crime, but we might accidentally create new ones. I love how the stereotype for Canadians is how friendly we are, but we are total monsters when it comes to warfare. 🤣

Unfortunately, the OPness of the shotgun during WW1 is mostly a myth. While it is true the Germans protested its use, it was mostly just a PR move to make the Allies seem worse. In reality, the shotgun (specifically the Winchester 1897, which was the only trench gun to actually see combat in WW1), was issued in very small numbers, and even fewer numbers of that actually saw combat. The biggest issue is that they were first issued with paper shells, which is fine almost everywhere except the damp trenches of Europe. The shells would swell up and render the gun useless. Later they issued brass shells, which were better but had a few other reliability issues. The reputation of trench guns in combat mostly comes from later wars like WW2, Vietnam, etc., when a lot of the issues were worked out. It’s still a cool story though lol

This is true. It wasn’t until the Army started issuing the Remington 870 and similar models that shotguns (or “trench guns”) were really seen as being absolutely devastating in close quarters. WW2 is when shotguns really saw their real entry into practical combat use. When they were using proper plastic shells and innovations like incendiary rounds (commonly called “Dragon’s Breath” rounds due to it basically making the shotgun spew flames) and slugs (which were perfect for punching through body armor) made the shotgun very versatile. I’m all for US armaments, but truth be told, if I had to choose between an M4 and a SCAR, I would chose the SCAR. Just a bit more versatile.

Hell yeah canadians for the win world War 2 was our shit are take no prisoners mentality was what made German high command order that if there were canadians on the field they were to focus on us first cause we had some of the best marksmen hell we had one from ww1 the ghost in the trenches sabaton did a song on it. Leo major is a great canadian hero from ww2.

A good idea is to make sure the usb is in a matching usb port, I had those tracking issues a lot when I first got my Rift S and I had thought that it was my shitty lights as well, but I found out that I wasn't plugged in to the correctly colored usb port cause I'm a color blind dipshi-.

Fun Fact: If you shoot a grenade with a rifle round it will explode, but OO Buck will shred a grenade. WW1 US Shotguns were shooting German Grenades like they were Clay Pigeons.

The Germans actually wanted the Model 1987 "Trench Gun" banned because if you hold the trigger while pumping the action hard enough, it will automatically fire the round without having to pull the trigger again, meaning that a soldier could fire the gun as fast as they could pump it.

I'm pretty sure Badger failed to account for the fact that the MP in MP40 stands for Machine Pistol (okay, _Maschinenpistole,_ whatever, it literally means the same thing). And a machine pistol is, technically, STILL A PISTOL. And in a fight between 9mm handgun bullets and .30 right bullets, the rifle bullet comes out on top in terms of stopping power. Every time.

I remember with the Germans threatening to kill any American with a trench gun they threaten to kill any German troops who wielded flamethrowers and serrated bayonets. Though the US still used trench guns in WW2 but they weren't as common in Europe as they were in the pacific because they were useful in jungle warfare that marines nicknamed them "Boom Sticks"
