Great video, recently I have gotten way better at this matchup, hopefully with this video I can do even better. Most of the matchups that I sometimes struggle with are vs champs that have a stronger lvl 1 than us, I feel like sometimes you have to give up on the push rather than taking unfavorable trades.

Also, I'm pretty sure the only reason Aatrox's passive auto counts as 2 separate instances of damage now is because they changed the damage type to magic.

Something to note is that all these aatrox players like to Q1-E, which lead to many of those solo kills. Good aatrox players will only E 2nd or 3rd Qs, maybe not even 2nd if they are not ahead. Seems like the matchup looks easy when it really isnt.

how do you deal with an aatrox that buys warden mail on first back? i faced it twice already, and my damage becomes non-existent while he just relies on base dmg, while getting lower cooldowns as well as he reaches level 9, which makes it seem impossible to lane anymore

As Aatrox main i say its not easy nor hard cause Renek has to benefit from early aatrox weakness He punishes him after every farm he takes and kill him if possible if Aatrox overextands but becareful Aatrox has better scaling thats why Renek must be ahead wherever in terms of farming or kills this is my point and my perspective

This is an extremely snowball lane. The high elo Aatrox players respect level 1-3 renekton. Aatrox won’t trade efficiently until second point in q. Very winnable for renekton, but good Aatroxs will not aggressively trade level 1-3

3in1 I shouldn't share this, but... you know how you cry about riot ruining gore's build path? what if you could rush 3 long swords? what if you could have 50 haste right when you max out your w at lvl 10? what if you could e>auto>w>2nd e>auto>q>W again at level fucking 10? black cleaver into lucidity boots rush. Think about it goredrinker is a total dogshit first item. It's active relies on you having tons of hp from more legendary items getting bonus HP, its omnivamp requires more damage from more levels in your abilities as well as more AD from multiple items, and it doesn't give us max CDR when we start getting to reduce the cooldown of our w starting post lvl 6. 3 long sword rush, that gives you amazing buys, you can start long sword do a lvl 3 cheater buy another, if you get a kill buy 2 more. Then 400 gold upgrade for 10 ability haste, always have 300g boot upgrade. if they don't buy boots, you can spend 650g on lucidity boots and run them down.... oh and you're getting another free 18 MS from finished black cleaver at 10 minutes, you're literally faster than everyone with a W on a 5 second cooldown at lvl 10. Edit: if* I did this math right, where you have black cleaver first item usually before most people start building armor and they have about 46 armor base which is a 32% damage reduction, and you have black cleaver reducing that 46 base armor to 32 armor... That leaves them with 22% damage reduction that's 14% dmg increase from physical dmg and your second w in that rotation is fully affected by both conqueror and black cleaver procs.
