In Design of Sustainable Polymer Systems, a joint class between MIT Chemical Engineering and Civil and Environmental Engineering (10.496/1.096), MIT engineering students are working to help tackle real-world problems. In this video, the students are designing a new reusable recyclable cup for Delta Air Lines under the guidance of Chemical Engineering Professor Brad Olsen and Civil and Environmental Engineering Professor Desiree Plata, who joined forces to create this new capstone design class.
