This is a mask off moment for the imperialist West. All of the sociopathic narcissism that underpins the dystopian global order they created is on display for everyone to see. They have made a mockery of international humanitarian law and killed any pretense of the freedom and democracy they claim to represent. Meanwhile they turn inward to repress their own populations from protesting against Israel’s shocking aggression on Gaza.
To discuss this and more, Rania Khalek was joined by Matteo Capasso, the Marie Curie Research Fellow at Columbia university and university of Venice Italy, Author of “Everyday politics in the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya” and editor of Middle East Critique. His work focuses on the nature and impact of US-led imperialism.

The Zionist Entity was originally set into motion by Jew-hating British imperialists such as Arthur Balfour and the Zionists offered to protect British imperialist interests by protecting the Suez canal [note the 1956 collaboration with UK and France]. It was the Us under Eisenhower which stood up to these 3 including the Zionists [Eisenhower who warned against the Military-Industrial Complex]. The relationship changed after 1967 with the Neocons etc. as Norman Finkelstein points out. Thus this guy's analysis - though largely based on truth - is far too simplistic Marxist ideology driven. As if Russian and Chinese imperialism does not pose threats to other countries. The USA and UK sent aircraft carriers and the 7th Fleet to the Bay of Bengal to show support for their ally (and Chinese ally) dictator Yahya Khan of Pakistan who was perpetrating the largest genocide since 1945 - on my fellow Bengalis in 'East Pakistan' . You don't hear much about this genocide which India - with the help of the USSR put an end to - as all Muslim Countries except Ba'athist Iraq supported their pro-Western Muslim dictator and laughably, some of them even called liberator India the 'aggressor'.

We judge people on their clothes, foot wear, whether they are shaven or unshaven their accent the list goes on! Therefore we also judge people on colour! It’s call the human condition. Our experiences shape our opinions and unless you’ve walked a mile in my shoes you will NEVER know what I’ve experienced and most important FELT! I’m also black British and have felt the subtle undertones of superiority. Things are not as blatant as they were. And just as how I will never know what it’s like to be white trailer trash and live as a white trailer trash person (no disrespect) I will not be able to relate to that thinking and mindset! I watch in total horror at my government and many others and ask myself if this is not the rich people in my society being able to turn our own security forces on us to get us into our box and if we keep trying to get out they will destroy us protesters and in the course of this widen the franchise to take in the poor and weak to be rid of looking after them. We are already trying to starve people and deny spending on health care and housing in our civilised West democratic countries. Read Alice Miller. She explains how all of this comes directly from people's traumatic upbringings with hypocritical, brutalizing parents. "For Your One Good: Hidden Cruelty in Child-Rearing and the Roots of Violence" is one of her books that goes into it (looks at Adolph Hitler's childhood among others).

At 64 years old and having investigated countless battles between people with advanced tech versus technologically less advanced people. In all cases, the higher tech side has been more barbarous. This runs counter to the notion that civilization has become more peaceful over time. That's because humanity is actually becoming more barbarous, more violent and more murderous as we become more technology advanced. For instance, violence continues to increase in the USA as the number of mass shootings per year grows. Just 33 years ago, in 1990, mass shootings began to occur more than once per year. Prior to that, mass shootings were very unusual. Then, by increasing in frequency every year since, mass shootings have reached 647 in 2022, according to the Gun Violence Archive which provides details of each case. That’s nearly two mass shootings every day! So it seems that humans become more barbaric as we advance technologically. In the case of Palestine, the more technically advanced Zionists have murdered 10 times the number of innocent civilians using much more destructive higher tech methods making the Zionists more barbaric. This is consistent with all of the human history and contemporary battles that I've investigated. The claims of primitive people being more savage is a glaring example of misinformation. The truth is that the more primitive people are, they tend to be more hospitable, kind, generous and welcoming. A similar misconception applies to poor versus elite. Other things being equal, humble workers tend to be hospitable, kind, generous and welcoming. On the other hand, the elite are often terribly rude, cruel and exclusive.
