I hope he gets prescribed glasses soon, when you force yourself to read from far away when your eye sight is bad is really bad for your eyes and you tend to have a lot of headaches so I really hope he gets glasses soon

This is not strictly true, at least from my experience (and also from what I’ve just googled: “If you're an adult who needs glasses due to blurred vision, not wearing glasses doesn't make your eyes worse, but it makes your eyes work harder.”). I have -1.75 eyesight but go through most of life without wearing glasses (except when it is of utmost importance that I see details like during lectures, driving etc.) and my degree has never gotten worse in the 20 years since I was first identified as nearsighted. I did wear the glasses consistently for the first 6-7 years, but since then I’ve mostly not worn them.

As someone who has been wearing glasses for about 12 years, I feel the awkwardness of this 3:13 My eyesight is so bad that I see blurry everything that is a meter away from my face if I'm not using my glasses😞

First time seeing someone who needs glasses wears them but with no lens!! Wow...really defeats the purpose of glasses!! HAHAHA... BTW he looks really good in glasses don't be shy! Hopefully, he will get LASIK, contact lens, or at least wear glasses with proper lens.

this is a bit of a late reply but if he only needs glasses to see things that are far away it means he won't need glasses all of the time so LASIK probably won't be worth the risk, I'm nearsighted like Renjun probably is and I only wear glasses some of time so I asked my optician about LASIK and they said the benefits for someone like me aren't worth the possible risks so it'd be easier to just get glasses and contacts, plus if your vision is still worsening it's recommended not to get, your prescription has to be stable for a few years I believe, Sorry for long reply I just think people should know LASIK isn't for everybody

Honestly Renjun is just like me. I’ve had bad eyesight since 6th grade and I’m now in 8th grade and I just got glasses but I remember in class using a camera to take a picture of the work on the board because I couldn’t see that far😭 but my ego didn’t let me get glasses either but I can see so much better now😃 Renjun is so adorable 😩😂

I don’t miss those days of not being able to see. Once he gets glasses his ego won’t have time to care because the world becomes brighter in 4K. Plus if he doesn’t like glasses contacts are another solution. Either way the squinting hurts after a while so I hope he pushes his ego aside and do something

I can totally relate. When I was little, I was walking on one side of a six lane street when a group of people started waving and calling my name on the other side. My eyes were so bad and they were so far away that they didn’t even look like people, just moving blurs. I waved back at them. Till this day, I still have no idea who they were.
