good explanation on noise basically , the way that market makers manipulates the price is by pumping or dumping orders in low volume creating noise, renko and heikin ashi basically filters the volume from the chart and it doesnt show the deceiving candles, so you are able to listen to the direction of the price

I hv more then 10 yrs of experience in stock market.. n i hv used the renko strategy multiple times. My suggestion to all my trader is never ever use renko chart... it ll fool u and ur assets. Use normal candlestick chart my first priority and second is heikin ashi chart.

Be VERY careful of Renko charting. A stock can gap-drop from 50 to 20, but the Renko chart would show a continuous line... That is: In a Renko chart some of the to continuous lines are IMAGINARY!...

The Renko block serves as the bigger picture. However, a smaller tick chart must be utilized in conjunction with it to give you a precise look of price action after that block has been produced.

Very interesting way to present the strategy with Renko. Audience should have shown little bit of restraint, though it was an interactive session for the folks present in the hall. Mr. Praveen has done a great job. The last slide during closure was not at all visible as the cameraman/person didn't have enough experience to decide which object to focus.

But the problem with Renko is, on Live Renko chart... the formed Brick (or Candle) will disappear if price comes back to previous brick/candle price. Its not as easy as seeing on already formed brick/candle at end of the day. How to handle this situation with Renko charts...?

The formed brick won't disappear no matter what, because it is formed only after price (candlestick) is CLOSED above certain number of points/pips. If your chart starts shuffling with red/blue bricks, it will be considered as consolidation and not much you can do about that. It will be much safer to use these after determing the main trend (hedge fund traders etc will get that from fundamental analysis). After you determine you have uptrend, then you will buy only after you see blue brick formed (you won't sell on red ones because your main trend is UP) Hope this helps

you have to enter when it closes not when its still open if the box closes in green when it was in red then you enter long if it closes red when it was in green enter short exit long and go short its quite easy might not be 100% but when it works it works and losses are outweighed by the profits

Renko never repaints. If you're using 1 min Renko bricks, mark the price level on which a new brick would form. If a 1 MIN regular candlestick CLOSES above that level, a renko forms and never repaints. They only ,,repaint" if the candle doesn't close above the price level. If it moves above that price level you will see a live renko brick and even a second one forming BUT that doesn't mean anything because they can easily switch to green again. The candle has to CLOSE above. 1 Min renko bricks - 1 min candlestick has to CLOSE above the level. 5 min renko bricks - 5 min candle has to CLOSE above the price level.

Great Lecture, insight into Renko Chart, FII & DII. Thank you for your valuable input, keep up the good work. But, please hire a better camera man next time, it's not a marriage; only to show the people on stage. Also, take care of participants,(it seem most of the personal attending are wanting to make money the very next instant after the programme, rather than to learn, understand & apply individual strategies). Ask, participants strictly that the programme does not encourage Q&A before or during the presentation.
