I lost my cousin to fentanyl 3 years ago and a devastated me. I found Ren and his music and it changed everything. I’m sorry that you lost your Father 😢. I lost both my parents and my brother in 4 years. It knocked me off my feet. I’m still grieving 13 years later. It does get better. I also live with awful chronic pain and when I’m stressing too much, the pain knocks me off my feet. Many hugs and look forward to more Ren.

One of my absolute favourite Ren songs, Crutch feat. Bibi, is off his first album Freckled Angels. Ren does get better and better, but he was already great when he first released music. My advice, don't judge the way you grieve. I locked myself in a room for 2 years and listen to Ren, and NF, who's also an amazing artist with an amazing emotional journey. They can put into words what we can't articulate, it's kind of mind-blowing. And the bravest thing you can do is walk through the fire of grief you'll come out the other side and amazing human being! so even when you're scared keep going, and take all the time you need❤

So sorry about your dad, I lost mine in February and as a 56 yr old daddy’s girl I am devastated. He passed 9 days before my birthday, he was 89 and in good health for his age so it was a shock.

I'm so sorry about your dad. You are grieving. Allow yourself all the time you need. The pain never really goes away, but it does get softer somehow. Both of my parents are gone and I lost my husband unexpectedly last Easter (2023). I know something about grieving. I still am. I may be grieving for another year. Who knows? Everybody has their own timeline. I found Ren and his music about 6 or 7 months ago. It truly has been healing for me. The one song that hit me the hardest is How To Be Me. Somehow Ren wrote words that spoke to my soul and expressed exactly how I feel. I'm tearing up just thinking about it. Let it go and cry those tears. They cleanse your soul. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
