Dr. Renner, is there one of your books I could read that would explain why you believe in a “pretribulation rapture?” Since reading “Dressed to Kill,” many years ago, I highly respect your Greek language skills. I don’t mean any disrespect, but I am very surprised that you would hold a pretribulation rapture position! I firmly believe the passages you spoke on in these two videos (1 Thessalonians 4 and 1 Corinthians 15) refer to a catching up and translation that happens at the “second” coming. I have read other books promoting a pretribulation rapture, but remain unconvinced there is such a thing in the Bible. I Corinthians 15, Paul speaks of how the dead in Christ will rise and their bodies will be changed incorruptible. So my question is what happens now when a Christian dies? Does his body change then too? Is this different from when the Rapture comes?

Will the Holy Spirit stay on the earth after the rapture?

There is no war in any of these events. Jesus judges the world, the anti-Christ, the false prophet and the dragon with ease by the word of His mouth.

NEEDS TO BE REPEATED ... I have so much respect for you, learning so many fabulous details in your teachings of scripture myself ... and love you dearly ... HOWEVER ... and please accept this with all the love that I have ... you have added something that is very erroneously leading people down the wrong road here ... concerning the meaning and use of the word "harpadzo" ... at #18.48 ... you add "to snatch OUT OF DANGER JUST IN THE NICK OF TIME, which means the rapture of the church WILL OCCUR IN A DANGEROUS MOMENT, WHEN THE CHURCH FEELS THAT IT IS IN PERIL. IT WILL BE A DANGEROUS MOMENT FOR THE CHURCH." All end times scripture, we are in the midst of now, tells of the constant danger, including the worst ... possible martyrdom. There is no scripture that supports "... of danger just in the nick of time", nor description of any compounded or additional "dangerous moment" ... or that the church "feel's that it is in peril". You actually continue on giving the reason yourself you used apo harpadzo in the wrong context ... then explained why ... "It has to be that way, or the word harpazo would have never been used in this context. But when it looks bleak, when it looks like things couldn't get worse, Christ is going to come and apo harpadzo, he's going to seize the church apo right out of a very dangerous situation. That's really what it means. It means to catch, to seize, to take away, to snatch suddenly, to snatch just in the nick of time. And the bible says we will be caught up together in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air." You were right to say "it has to be that way, or the word harpazo would have never been used in this context". You have surmized the context. "Harpazo" is strictly an adjective, but for some reason ... you are erroneously adding a non-scriptural "dangerous situation" why we will be snatched away at that moment. What could possibly be a more "dangerous situation" than what we have already been told about in the Word? The definition is strictly being snatched away ... not when we will be snatched ... or reason we will be snatched ... but not in the context you are using!!! Philip was "harpadzo" away from the eunuch! Acts 8:39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. God bless and continue to protect and prosper you, your family and ministry ... and I stand with Jesus, when He prayed for us in the garden ... John 17:15 “I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.”

⁠ Post Trib rapture is based on scripture. PreTrib rapture is based on conjecture, speculation and misinterpretation of Scripture. Rapture is posttrib and It’s not really debatable. Here are some irrefutable truths. 1. The rapture is AFTER the resurrection. 1 Thessalonians 4. Dead in Christ shall rise first. 2. Jesus said the resurrection is on ‘THE LAST DAY’ over and over and over in John 6. That is the last day of the age of grace. The last day of life without Christ. The last day of the church age. The last day of the New Covenant. The next day starts the millennial kingdom. If the resurrection is ON THE LAST DAY obviously then this means that the rapture is on the last day since the RAPTURE IS AFTER THE RESURRECTION. The rapture is on the last day. 3. The resurrection / rapture is in Rev 20:4. Here we find ‘the last day’. John says he saw the dead come to life. This is the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the rapture is right after it. The rapture is post trib. It is AFTER Rev 5-19. The church goes THROUGH the tribulation. We will not experience Gods wrath just like Israel did not experience Gods wrath when God punished Egypt. And Noah didn’t experience Gods wrath when He flooded the whole earth, but Noah was preserved THROUGH the flood. Not raptured out of it. Israel was not raptured out of Egypt. God will test the church. He will have a pure spotless bride for His Son. Any other position other than a posttrib rapture twists and distorts Gods Word. And then there’s Jesus’ message in Matthew 24:29-31 “But immediately AFTER THE TRIBULATION of those days……..And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, ………….And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. ------ Jesus Himself says that He is coming back for His church and will gather it immediately AFTER the tribulation. How can it get ANY CLEARER???? Stop with this false doctrine of a PreTrib rapture. The doctrine of escapism has to be exposed and refuted by the word of God. Too many people planning their escape instead of filling their lamp with oil. Having said this, in Rev 3:10 God promises to keep those who have proven their faithfulness from the hour of testing. Knowing that be so faithful that God keeps you from the tribulation. Remember this promise of Christ is to only ONE of the seven churches in Revelation. One. There are letters to SIX other churches. And remember this verse. Revelation 13:7 It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him. -- God will give Antichrist power to persecute and kill His saints. Sounds crazy but that’s His plan. Don’t let people tickle your ears with anything that’s not the truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. Read your Bible. Test your teachers. Reject false teachers. Endure to the end and you will be saved. That’s a promise from God.

If there is no rapture people who are living will loose faith. The last Trump is one of many but none the less the Bible says last Trump not a beginning Trump. If anyone is interested looking into a pre trib rapture just look into no pre trib in KZfaq.Revelation is a warning and to warn to prepare. I do not agree with your teaching but still listen to your programs and love and pray for you.
